"Hotel excelente! Ficamos alguns dias em Copacabana, e depois fomos passar alguns dias na Barra devido a ser mais tranquilo. Como na Barra tudo é muito longe, alugamos um carro para poder ficar nesse hotel. O hotel é excelente, fica dentro de um shopping com muitas opções de restaurantes maravilhosos, e ainda tem o famoso bar do Zeca pagodinho bem a baixo do hotel 😍. Café da manhã muito bom! Quartos grandes muito bons! Equipe desde a recepção até a equipe de limpeza, são maravilhosos! Super indico esse hotel a todos! "

"Terrible staff super slow check in over 40 mins also slow check out . The staff need to learn how to deal with guests . The hotel itself is good and great pool but only open from 10 am . The area around the hotel is not great if it’s you first time in Rio . "

"This is a safe, solid, budget friendly hotel in the heart of the Lapa Samba club area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was decent for the price and area and I felt safe overall. The area is in close proximity to the mosaic stairs and on Sunday there’s an amazing open air market that takes place close by. The area is lively and full of the authentic Brazilian cultural vibe you’re seeking. I had a great time at the Samba bar right across the street, joined a street party that had live musicians from the community just spontaneously breaking out instruments and everyone singing (had to be at least 200+ people). Lots of bars , convenience stores, restaurants, and dancing all around. If you’re familiar with city life the area won’t alarm you. The people were amazing, but keep your wits about you as in any city. There’s a nearby gym you can buy a day pass at. I even got to witness a spiritual ceremony near the arches. Do yourself a HUGE FAVOR stay away from the tourist trap restaurants and visit some of the real local spots— I highly recommend going to a nearby Peruvian restaurant called Panka— thank me later (this is also the same area the open market takes place)! <3"

"no indication at old (closed?) terminal 1 entrance on level 1 of hotel!! luckily two guests were using shuttle bus who told me to take lift to level 3 - where the hotel reception was immediately obvious. quick efficient, friendly check in (excellent English) nice room, good AC but no window- all fine"

"Nice stay. Within a big mall with lot of food and shopping options. Staff is very helpful."

"The temperature in the gym was too hot. They should keep windows covered during the day, as the gym is on the rooftop with glass doors. Elevators all broken all the time. Breakfast is simple and the same every day."
