The highlight was the cave pool which was excellent to come back to. The cave villa is located outside of the main tourist areas, so very quiet. It is about a 30 minute walk to the main town (Kamari and Kamari beach). There is a local restaurant nearby, but not much else. There is the local bus which has a convenient stop nearby, but we never could get the timing quite right. For that reason, a car or ATV would be highly recommended. Communication with the property manager was fantastic and they were really helpful. Overall, would highly recommend for a quieter option. ##### Fabienne M. Exceptional Hostess! The property is well maintained and gorgeous. Everything you need is provided for you. Prior to arrival, our hostess was great at communicating, provided a car for us to get to the property and gave amazing details on how to get to the property and how to retrieve the keys. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very, very much. Even when we were unsure of how to get the washing machine to run, our hostess was quick to reply and helped us through it. The property is up a little cobblestone walkway by an old domed church. The street that it is on winds its way up the mountain to some spectacular views within a short distance. The cave itself was roomy, cool, thanks to the air conditioners and met all our needs as a base of operations in Santorini. The indoor/outdoor pool was a nice touch for the very hot days we were there. Stavroula helped arrange for transportation to the cave and with a rental car when we needed. She was available to us over Whatsapp whenever we needed anything. We did need a rental car because the property is a bit farther away from any stores and all the touristy locations. While there is a bus stop close by, it was too hot to stand there waiting for a bus. There are several wineries within walking distance and the Donkey beer company as well. ##### Carlos M. The property is quiet and well equipped and the property manager was very helpful and responsive, recommending activities and places to visit.
