"The people were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! The grounds and view excellent! There was not much staff on the premises and we had just arrived from a Relais & Chateau which was pretty much the same price so in comparison this destination was lacking BUT if you are going to Monsaraz and want to relax after your day of visiting I would still highly recommend since nothing in the area is comparable and the place is very beautiful and enjoyable!"

"Very pleasant surprise. The Quinta was purchased by a well-off German back in 2017\. He seem to have made it his pet project. Spared no expense to make it a top-notch retreat. The suite we stayed in was originally a horse stable that was turned into a super modern, large place with the help of some leading Lisbon design firm, while keeping some of it’s original features. It is staffed by super nice and helpful locals and is very well managed in all respects. Restaurant was excellent as well. Only regret is we didn’t stay for longer. Excellent place to relax for a few days or use as base for touring the area."

"The Montimerso Skyscape was serene. Surrounded by nature and old medieval towns, it was the perfect mini honeymoon getaway. The staff were so nice and welcoming. We felt so at peace. The infinity pool was nice to relax by in the hot afternoons. They have the 2 cutest dogs on the property that come to greet you. At night you are filled with beauty night sky’s and the calm of nature."
