Beware!

I’ve stayed in old seagrove area for the past 15 years and I’ve never had a problem ever. With this house that is very pretty and updated, the sheets were not changed in the master that we stayed in and the kids bunk beds (3) had sand in them, upon arrival. That was very disappointing. I contacted the manager to find out she’s the owner and staying in the carriage house on the property. Never had an owner on the same property, interesting. I then felt like we were being spied on. Moving on, the house advertises that it comes with 6 bikes. It indeed does BUT they are in very bad shape. Rusted handle bars, seats that can’t be tightened and chains that repeatedly came off to the point that we were fixing them daily! The bunk room upstairs has no a/c vent and would get very hot and when trying to turn the air down, the owners clearly have control of that because it kept getting turned back up so it stayed very hot in that room. Another inconvenience, each bathroom only came with two towels, hand towels and wash cloths. Not nearly enough for the amount of people the house sleeps!! Let me say, this is the first review I have ever written. Our stay was less than it could’ve been if I had known these things before. So just be careful before you rent this house.

Perfect Spot

The house was beautiful. It was perfect for two families & teenagers. There were numerous outdoor covered areas for everyone to sit outside and relax and have their own space. Walking distance to the beach & the Seaside Square. A perfect location. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely stay here again!

Heaven in Greek Isles

We've been vacationing in the 30a area for over 25 years and this home, by far, is the best place we have ever stayed. We felt like we were in a luxurious villa in Santorini. The fixtures, the furniture, and the design were done to perfection. And the hosts were amazing! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Serene Beach House

Summer House is the perfect beach house! We stayed for 5 weeks and wished it could have been longer. The home is just as pictured with beautiful furnishings and amazing outdoor space. The attention to detail is remarkable. On a quiet lot surrounded by trees and just a short walk from Seaside (a rarity on 30A). We had a perfect time and needed absolutely nothing. Can't wait to return!

Thoughtful for multi family stay

The design of the house gives privacy for three family units. There are 3 master suites with en-suite baths, including a Jack-and-Jill bath joining the master with a bedroom that has two triple bunk beds. This bedroom has an outside access via staircase to the back porch, as well as access through the master. The children and their parents in our group loved this feature. There are beach towels and towels for the baths. The beach is a few blocks away through the neighborhood with very little car traffic as most people in the area walk or ride bikes. This house included the use of bikes with locks and baskets. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, dish ware, glassware, and flatware. There is a drip coffeemaker, but no Keurig, so we bought one locally (creatures of habit). There are some spices available, but no salt/pepper shakers, a small inconvenience. The nearby Publix made for an easy remedy and was well-stocked. There are sidewalks to the store, so we enjoyed walking there. The porches are delightful. Several areas of seating give an opportunity for alone time. We especially enjoyed the porch seating around a gas fireplace, which extended our outdoor time into cool late evenings. We were there in March. There is one tv (in the family room); however, the beach and Seaside environment were our focus, so it was rarely on. There is Wi-Fi in the house.

Beautiful House!

We stayed here for a Christmas vacation. Property is absolutely as beautiful in person as it looks in the pictures. Very comfy beds, spa like bathrooms with good shower heads. Comes with 6 bikes and beach toys/chairs which was really nice as we didn’t have to spend extra money renting those items. Also on a dead end street so there were not endless amounts of golf carts and foot traffic going by at all hours…which provided for a very quiet atmosphere. Loved the house.

Sea grove Peaceful living😊

We are a group of early Fifties that have known each other for 35 years plus. We travel together often together to enjoy Gods beauty and our friendship and we could not have picked a more beautiful property that helped us with both. The perfect beach weather, cooking in and riding bikes to church made our stay wonderful. Hostess was very helpful and prepared the space lovely!! Highly recommend. 3 block walk to the beach but it’s adventurous and pretty!!

Loved the house & location!

The newly renovated house was beautiful and relaxing. It was spacious and ideal for multi-family. Close proximity to the beach and Seaside. We had four teen girls and we felt safe letting them ride the bikes to Seaside. It was also an easy walk to places. The house had a great relaxing vibe. The kitchen was fully equipped. Management was quick to respond. We would come again!

Loved it and want to go back!

The house is gorgeous! So beautifully decorated and such beautiful items curated throughout. Lots of wonderful natural light. (They're still working on getting all the window coverings so if you're like me and like it dark when you sleep then I recommend packing an eye mask!) As someone who values a clean, non-toxic space, I was soo grateful for sheets and towels and cleaning products not having strong synthetic fragrances and harsh chemicals! We loved the beach chairs too and the location was simple to get to the beach and to meet family at Camp Watercolor pool. I definitely recommend requesting to keep the AC settings at a lower temp at night, especially because the bunk room can get warm. We slept great when it stayed cool and the owner was so easy and great to communicate with so it was simple to request this. I definitely recommend renting this home! It felt like a true vacation getaway and I want to go back and stay again!

Beach time

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The host's were very attentive throughout our stay and the home was set up perfect for a relaxing beach trip with our family. Everything we needed was there, bikes, beach chairs, and a great grill! Nice to be so close to Seaside without being in the traffic. We will visit again! c my best, DML
