Located in the affluent gated community of Vizcaya, guests are walking and/ biking distance to multiple restaurants and the town center of Gulf Place. You are also close enough to Grand Boulevard and San Destin to have those dining and shopping options available as well. The bottom entry floor includes a bunk room with four twin beds and a queen bed as well as a half bathroom across the hall and the laundry room with a second refrigerator! The bunkroom also leads guests into the garage that houses the bicycles (and is not to be used for a vehicle.) As guests walk up the stairs with brand new hardwood floors, they are greeting into the massive, recently remodeled Chef's kitchen. This state of the art, brand new space is a cook's dream! With brand new stainless steel appliances including a massive refrigerator and 6 burner gas range, this is the perfect space for creating memorable meals on vacation! The focal point of the room is the stunning copper vent hood and backsplash complete with new cabinetry throughout. With ample seating for 6 at the bar, guest now have a central place to gather together. There is also a bar area with a wine fridge and small sink for a novice or expert bartender to "shake things up"! The stunning woodwork and open floor plan makes this an ideal space for guests to gather with family and friends to spend time together. Adjacent to the kitchen is a small half bath and a hallway that leads to the large king suite. This bedroom consists of a king bed, flat screen TV and lead into an ensuite bath. The bathroom includes a large walk-in shower and double vanity. Going to the right and up the stairs, you will arrive at the luxurious master bedroom with panoramic gulf views. This stunning space also contains a king bed, a sitting area and two closets. The bedroom leads out onto a small terrace to take in the lovely views. Back into the master bedroom, there is a large ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub, a walk in shower and double vanity. Also on the top floor are two other bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. One is a room with two queen beds and the ensuite bathroom contains a shower/tub combo. The last bedroom has a King size bed and an additional bathroom with a shower/tub combo. All bedrooms have flat screen TVs. The gated neighborhood of Vizcaya is extremely exclusive and absolutely stunning. To get to the beach, guests must walk one house over to the beach access that leads down a flight of stairs to the very private beach. Only guests of Vizcaya are allowed on the beach and it is protected by a guard. One set of beach service comes with this rental for the 2023 beach season March 1 to Oct 31\. The neighborhood also includes a beautiful Mediterranean style pool that is heated by the HOA in the winter months. (This is dictated by the HOA and can not guarantee pool heat) There is also a shower and bathroom with a bar area by the pool. It had plenty of space for our group of 7\. Even with all of the space, the decor made the home feel warm and cozy. The kitchen was set up so nice with all of the amenities that you would need to cook with. The beach access was perfect just one house away to the walkway. We could walk barefoot from the beach to the house easily without having to pack a bunch of stuff to take down to the beach with us. The private beach was so peaceful and the neighbors that own the other homes in the gated community were very friendly. The management team was very kind and quick to respond when we had any questions or concerns. The sunsets were breathtaking and the clean, white sand beach and varying colors of blues in the ocean were breathtaking. Lots of good coffee and conversations on the balcony each morning to begin the days. The kitchen was equipped with all that we needed and was nicely arranged with a large island in the middle. A nice feature was the outdoor shower to rinse sand off after a day at the beach. The only thing that would have been a helpful addition would have been a full bath for the bedroom on the first floor…….there is a half bath. The other 4 bedrooms had their own bathrooms. We appreciated the big ice machine and extra fridge in the utility room along with oversized washer and dryer. It was not overcrowded on our private beach which was nice but if you want to find busier beaches and cute shops, they are not far…..Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Watercolor all had cute shops and lots of restaurants. We have been coming to this area for years and wow! This home is truly 5 stars! Location: private neighborhood with private beach, one house off 30A, and in the center of it all, yet in this quaint, quiet neighborhood. Property: Kitchen is gorgeous! For a Southern Family who loves to congregate around the kitchen, it was such a blessing. (Please note: if you do plan to do a lot of cooking and will be using “speciality items”., you might want to consider bringing them with you.) With grandparents getting older and limiting their time on the beach, great memories occurred around the kitchen island, living room and on the gorgeous and expansive deck! The view is truly one in a million! Kids room is on the first floor with 5 beds and was perfect to house all the grand children. This was a week where we did not say, “good bye”, but “Until Next Year”! Also, the management company was responsive, caring, and truly great. My family felt very comfortable in the home as it had everything we needed for our family (ages 13-78) and more but the property was also quite pretty. The location was convenient to everything but still private; it was almost like a world within another world. The property manager was attentive and communicated well with us. Air conditioning on top floor was perfect (it's usually hot in large homes). Can't use tents on the beach but we made do with our umbrellas and the set up we got with the house. This house worked out great for us. The house is beautiful, the beds are very comfortable, everything was very clean and well stocked. It was on the beach and the private beach was awesome! A vacuum on each floor would be great, kids said a fan in bunk room would be good, trash receptacle in kitchen has to be bigger, there was a pod Keurig in ,itches, wish we’d known, laundry room baseboards dirty and I think for what the house cost a paint can propping the door is tacky.
