Can Picafort in the northeast of Mallorca has developed from a small fishing village into one of the most popular destinations for visitors to the island. Located in the long bay of Alcúdia, two beaches within walking distance, numerous entertainment possibilities and a good infrastructure - Can Picafort is ideal for families and active holidaymakers.  
  
  
  
Quietly situated in the village and only 10 minutes walking distance from the sandy beach, the very homely and luxurious 125 m2 holiday home "Casa Mediterránea" is located away from the tourist streams.  
  
  
  
The very tastefully furnished holiday home has a living room with sofa and fireplace, a very well equipped kitchen with cooker, oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine, 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have a double bed, one with 2 single beds and 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet and offers space for 6 people.  
  
  
  
The facilities also include Wi-Fi, air conditioning, washing machine, a collection of games, satellite TV, a baby cot and a high chair.  
  
  
  
The very well maintained, fenced and secluded outdoor area of this townhouse will delight you: a covered terrace for a lunch together in the hot sunny hours, a sun terrace with lounge furniture and loungers for the perfect holiday tan and a heated jacuzzi open all year round for total relaxation or for colder days.  
  
  
  
In the centre of Can Picafort, approx. 350 to 700 m away, you can easily reach numerous supermarkets, restaurants, bars, cafés and shopping facilities within 5 to 10 minutes on foot.  
  
Also the fine sandy beach "Playa El Muro", which stretches for miles up to Alcúdia, can be reached in 10 minutes on foot and invites you to long walks on the beach in the pleasant evening hours.  
  
  
  
The island capital Palma de Mallorca and the airport are about 50 km and one hour drive by car respectively.

Pros: - Maria the host is super friendly and always available if you need help - not far from the beach and restaurants - quiet neighborhood Cons: - we didn’t like the beds, especially in the master bedroom. 3 weeks back pain, not so relaxing - black mold in the master bedroom, they just put some color on top of the black mold - we couldn’t change the temperature of the whirlpool because the buttons are broken. So you every time you want to change the temperature you have to call the owner, they remove the duck tape and change the temperature for you. - the toilet smells bad. We cleaned it, same result again. With an toilet freshener it was okay. - some pictures are old. There is a new grill. Not longer a nice stone grill. It’s an metal one and it was used & dirty. Nothing to put the used charcoal inside.
