The living room opens with big doors to the back area and was really nice to have open. The location is quite removed and away from the city’s noise, and was very peaceful and quiet outside. The owners sent all check in communication very proactively and were easy to reach and coordinate with during the arrival process. Highly recommend overall! It was an absolutely wonderful property! It was a very private property with stunning views of the mountains from the patio and living room and kitchen. The property was very peaceful and quiet. The home was exceptionally well decorated and had all the items we needed to either enjoy a drink on the back patio or cook a meal. There are walking trails in the neighborhood and you are about 10 minutes from Santa Fe. We also hiked the Santa Fe ski area which is close. This was one of the nicest VRBO properties we’ve rented. An architectural gem of elegant simplicity, beauty and calm, with every modern luxury. Just a 15-min drive to downtown Santa Fe, along a sleepy back road that passes by the Tesuque Village Market, so it’s convenient to necessities and yet it feels faaar away from it all. Welcoming and friendly hosts responded quickly to questions and requests. One note about the view: It’s ideal if you want to feel like part of the landscape, nestled in the piñons and surrounded by rolling hills. We spent hours on the back patio watching the sun move over the landscape, and the storm watching and stargazing were wonderful. But if you’re expecting a view of the far-off Santa Fe city lights, the best place to see them is from a trail above the house, not from the house itself.
