Which is more beautiful, the luxe furnishings and decor of this South Capitol area home, or its huge, shaded garden with pinon pines and al fresco dining? You might just have to come see for yourself! La Vida Buena is right in the heart of Santa Fe, in a quiet, leafy neighborhood just a mile from the Plaza. The house is New Pueblo-style, with wood-burning kiva fireplaces, handsome viga ceilings, and all the little touches that make a home unique. Best of all, it is set in a large lot with a lovely garden, several patio spaces, and plenty of greenery for you to enjoy! Step inside and admire the southwestern colors and handsome style of La Vida Buena. The living room is dominated by a bank of windows with beautiful modern stained glass, turning the sunlight bright colors as it falls into the room. A handsome leather couch and banks of pillows on built-in seating invite your group to relax around the fireplace or watch the large flat-screen mounted on one wall. Everything is neat, spotless, and utterly charming. This is northern New Mexico living at its finest! Adjacent to the living room are the kitchen and dining areas, painted in bright colors and immaculately appointed. You will love the stainless-steel appliances and well-stocked cupboards in the kitchen, which is fit for the finest chef. The location is great, walkable to the Plaza, Canyon Road, etc. Grocery stores are very short car ride away.The bedrooms are spacious, as is the living and dining areas. Ample storage space in both bedrooms. The outdoor space is great too, with a couple of different seating areas. The two bathrooms are nice, but the primary bathroom would be difficult for someone with mobility issues. There are two steps down into the bathroom, and the shower is incorporated into a jacuzzi-type tub.All in all we had a great stay, and I would definitely book this property again when visiting Santa Fe. ##### Amy Z. A piece of a roll of paper towel only. 2 rolls of toilet paper. 0 yes 0 trash bags. Ridiculous. For the price paid for the week, I shouldn’t have to search for & haul firewood & grocery shop for essentials. The house was perfect & as advertised. If you're looking for Santa Fe style charm this house delivers 100%. Decor is on point! The "back yard" is a lovely oasis and a great way to start your day with a cup of coffee or wind down in the evening. Location is convenient to walking into "downtown" with all of its charm and diversions. Would recommend this property to anyone (and did, but their dates were booked). Only cons would be that the kitchen should have some cooking spray or EVO (pans stick!) and didn't realize there was recycling until items were in the trash outside; Consider having a designated recycling bin in the house and/or mention from the property mgr in ALL of their correspondences.
