"Being in our room here almost felt like being in an upscale cabin or treehouse! It was very quiet and peaceful. There were thunderstorms at night and I loved listening to them while lying in bed. The bathroom was extremely nice with good soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. There is a lovely trail at the back of the property. "
"Very cute, modest B&B. Wonderful views from the common deck off the lobby and breakfast is tasty. Rooms are on the small side, but clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. "
"Ernesto and his family obviously have pride of ownership in their quaint B&B. But more than that, they obviously have a deep love for what they do and where they live, and they want everyone to have a meaningful experience. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The rooms were basic, yet met all the needs and were very comfortable. They were surprisingly large and conveniently located to shops, dining, and attractions. "
"As a female traveller, I felt completely safe here and would definitely stay again if I'm ever back in Monteverde.
Great place for a solo traveller with a communal kitchen to help keep down expenses of eating out. WiFi in all the rooms. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful 😊
My only complaint would be the floors in my room hadn't been cleaned (but in fairness it's a 2 star hostel, not a 5 star hotel). Make sure you have some flip flops or slippers for the room and then its...
"Beautiful, faciltiy. We stayed in the Forest Deluxe room which was larger and a bit further back from the road. The grounds are well maintained, the breakfast service was great and the staff was friendly. Just across the street are some decent restaurants and a grocery store. It's a short 2-3 block walk to the town square. "
"Freddy was wonderful! Even though we had booked our tours online he helped arrange for them to pick us up. Breakfast was fresh & cooked to order. Rooms were older but clean. Would stay here again"

"I was worried to share this gem but they deserve the credit, this was the best hotel we stayed at in Costa Rica, had the villa without a pool, private, secluded, and clean. The breakfast was in a room near a balcony overlooking the mountains and valley. Somewhat like a dream! It's so close to the waterfall which makes visiting it so easy and it's a short drive to town for great dining."

"Lovely little B&B with a warm and friendly, artsy vibe. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. Water heat/pressure was sometimes hit or miss (not a real issue, but just to level set expectations) and there was no A/C (as expedia said there would be)--but it's way up in the mountains and open windows cooled things fine! We loved the staff, the tasty breakfast, the beautiful bottles embedded in the walls spreading color everywhere, and the amazing patio! PLENTY nearby in terms of food, including a Soda right next door with GIANT delicious empanadas!"
