I definitely recommend staying here. Great hotel for a quick stay and it’s also close to the boardwalk. Safe place to park and leave your vehicle. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly. Check in was simple, however the price we booked with on Expedia was $20 cheaper than what they ended up charging us at the hotel. The room was cute, but unfortunately there was an almost unbearable odor that came from the sink, and because of the small size of the bathroom, the sink was in the main room. We didn’t notice the smell when we first checked in otherwise we would have said something right away. We noticed it after using the sink to brush our teeth and wash our faces. It was so bad we had to cover the sink with a towel. We asked for extra towels in the morning which we never received…. I wanted to give this place a higher review because everyone was so nice, but unfortunately there were too many things lacking.

Worse hotel I’ve ever ,I made my reservation on Expedia ,when I arrived to the hotel they charge me a different amount ,more that was my reservation supposed to be ,there is no one to talk and resolve problems in there ,the girl in front who barely speaks English was completely lost about was she was doing and told me to come back next day to talk to the manager ,I did talk to some else the next morning who was extremely rude and didn’t resolve my issue Please be aware this is a horrible hotel with no respect to their clients and the worse customer service ever !! I am still waiting for my refund !!!! Would never ever come back !!

The property staff was nice. The bed comfortable but i had my concerns about the linens. The room smelled and wasn't very clean. The shower was terrible. The room we were in was very loud. The remote for the tv was really gross and sticky with a wierd substance. While yhe hotel on the outside looks good. I cant recommend staying again.

Pros: friendly and helpful employees, the room was very clean, the bed was comfy and I slept well, the heater worked, hot water and decent water pressure in the shower, shampoo/conditioner/body wash/soap/lotion provided, convenient location for getting around Santa Cruz. Cons: the lighting in the room was terrible (only one fluorescent light fixture on the wall and two tiny reading lamps next to the bed), wall are pretty thin, very loud plumbing in the motel (you'll hear all your neighbors using the sink/taking a shower), the ventilation fan in the bathroom sounded like a dying dog, pool/hot tub looked like they needed to be drained and cleaned (did not go in). Probably wouldn't stay here again, but it was fine for the price.

Absolutely perfect and exceded expectations
Everything was perfect. Bed nice n comfy. Pillows fluffy. Water pressure and temp nice. Light fixtures modernized. Tv worked. Shower doors were fancy. Absolutely no complaints. Didn’t use the pool fridge or microwave or coffee pot but they were there! Unfortunately no pics were taken so I don’t have any to share. I’d definitely return again.

I gave them 5 stars because the reviews and descriptions is far better than the actual place tbh the price more than anything is why I booked but the rooms are really really good if not excellent. I had some trouble with checks due to late arrival a lil hiccup but that was resolved. I’m here a week for now but from what I see I don’t see any of the drug activity someone takes about but I’ve only been here a few hours. Will update.
