Discover comfort and elegance in the heart of the desert at this Santa Clara home, a three-bedroom Utah retreat with beautiful red rock views, a private patio and balcony, and access to a swimming pool and hot tub in a gated community.

This home is one of only 20 in the Entrada subdivision of Lava Falls, a gated community that sits two miles north of historic downtown Santa Clara. You'll be just four miles south of Snow Canyon State Park, six miles northwest of St. George, and 46 miles west of spectacular Zion National Park.

Whereas the red stucco exterior blends in with the desert landscape, the interior living space is cool, bright, and comfortable. Adjust the central air conditioning on warm summer days, recover from long hikes on one of the two leather sofas, and use the WiFi to plan your next canyoneering adventure.

Get your vacation off to a wonderful start in the full kitchen, where you can prepare homemade breakfasts amid the granite countertops and slate floors. Store your favorite ingredients in the wood cabinets, poach eggs on the gas stove, and sit down for coffee and pancakes in the window-lined dining room.

Bring the newspaper outside to the private patio, and spend your days swimming in the community pool, riding your bike on the local paths, and soaking away your worries in the shared hot tub. As your bathing suits spin in the washer/dryer each afternoon, you can enjoy the golden hour views with a cold drink on the patio.

Gather your loved ones in the great room each evening, where you can flip on the gas-powered fireplace and share stories of the day's adventures. Choose a Netflix or a cable favorite to watch on the flatscreen TV, or bring along a movie from home to pop in the Blu-ray player.

With three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms, Lava Falls at Entrada will accommodate eight guests. Sleep soundly in the large master suite, where you'll find a king-size bed, a flatscreen TV, and glass doors that lead to a private balcony. The attached master bath offers double vanities and a walk-in shower. The second upstairs bedroom features a queen-size bed, a twin-size sleeper sofa, a TV, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The third bedroom downstairs has a queen-size bed.

Whether you've come to Utah to hike, mountain bike, or see some of the nation's most beautiful national parks, you'll be able to do it all near Santa Clara. Take a memorable day trip to Zion, where you can watch the sunrise over the Towers of the Virgin, hike the watery passages of The Narrows, drive the beautiful Zion Park Scenic Byway, and catch the sunset atop the Canyon Overlook.

Closer to town, you'll be in the midst of plentiful hiking and biking trails, and within a few minutes of the quaint shops in historic downtown Santa Clara. Tee off at the Dixie Red Hills Golf Course three miles east, spend the day hiking and taking pictures in Snow Canyon State Park, or hold a family softball game at The Canyons Baseball Fields just one mile to the northeast.

Wonderful home
This home was a wonderful place to stay went in the St. George area. Very close to Tuacahn and other venues. The house was very clean and comfortable the pool and hot tub were great as well. We would definitely stay here again.

The location and access to the property was wonderful for where we needed to be. Overall - the condition of the property is a 4 out of 5. The property is dated as far as decor and what not. The showers were a bit dingy - but they did the job. The kitchen tools/dishes were mis matched and sparse - but we made the best of it. The size of the rooms were just what we needed. The access to the pool was really nice. Super quiet and relaxing in the home and the surrounding areas. We would stay here again.

Great location!
Stayed in this rental for a soccer tournament and had a great time. The location was great. The kids loved the pool, it was close to great hiking, and all the fields of play. The rental is clean and had everything we needed during our stay. I would definitely stay here again. The group of condos is gated and very quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The home was roomy for 7 guests. The beds were comfortable. The gas fireplace in the living room was a nice touch. The pool and hot tub were within walking distance. The small number of units that share the pool make it so it’s not overcrowded. My only major complaint was that the master bed sheets were not clean! I always pull down the blankets to check this when staying. After doing so I could see dog hair on them and they did not smell fresh...kinda musty like men cologne. Luckily there were extra sheet sets in the closet so I was able to quickly replace them. Things that could have been better; more cleaning supplies like dish soap and more forks and spoons. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Lovely area, unit needs some work
We have stayed in several of the 2 bedroom units in Lava Falls. This time we needed more bedrooms and chose this 3 bedroom unit. We love the convenience of Lava Falls, and the little private pool and hot tub there are awesome! This unit served our purposes with the number of bedrooms we needed and a kitchen, but needs a little fixing up. Hardly any of the doors with locks actually lock, so privacy was a bit of an issue. Some of the doors wouldn't even latch when closing them. There was a strong unpleasant smell in the unit when we arrived, so we opened all the windows and doors to air the place out, finding out that the blinds on the sliding door to the patio were broken and wouldn't open, which was a pain when using the patio. The ice machine on the fridge didn't work. We brought our roku but could only use it in the family room as the tvs in the bedrooms were too old to have somewhere to plug the roku in. Again, the location, number of bedrooms, and having a kitchen was just what we were looking for. With a little work, this unit could be just as awesome as the other units we've stayed in at Lava Falls.
