Captain's Cottage Newly remodeled with thoughtfully curated design, this one-bedroom plus unit of a restored triplex is a fresh, modern version of a classic California bungalow. Perfect location for a Santa Barbara rental on a quaint and quiet residential street within one block of the beach and harbour and a short walking distance to Stearns Wharf, the famous Funk Zone, and State Street. This back unit is hidden behind private garden gates resulting in a serene setting. The living room centers on friendly gatherings, with a large flat-screen television framed by custom cabinetry. Colorful art and found objects bring the nautical theme to life, adding a touch of whimsy at every turn. In the bedroom is a second television and a comfortable queen-size bed to assure a great night's sleep. The remodeled bathroom is luxurious with dual sinks and a large walk-in glass shower equipped with a safety bar. As is typical with many Santa Barbara homes, this property does not have AC. Open windows and the use of fans allow ocean breezes in to keep the house cool during hot summer months.
