Unfortunately a few days into our stay, construction on a two story auxiliary dwelling unit began behind the back fence which impacted our stay with noise and dirt as they were digging out the hill. We loved the easy one-block walk to a beautiful dog-friendly beach with a cute restaurant and nearby hiking trails. The neighborhood is very quiet and nestled in wooded hills. Plus, it is only 10 to 15 minutes from all the attractions and restaurants in downtown Santa Barbara!
