On the entry level, the open plan living room and kitchen are the center point of a comfortable home. Guests will love cooking together in a well-equipped kitchen and dine at the granite peninsula (stools for six). Enjoy a night of streaming hit shows on the flat screen TV in the living room, or maybe just kick back and grab a quick nap before dinner. If needed, the sofa features a pull-out couch to accommodate any extra guests. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom on the ground floor, and a primary suite on the second floor. One of the ground level bedrooms features a queen-sized bed, cozy reading corner, and large walk-in closet. The second ground level bedroom boasts of a luxurious King-sized bed, seating area and closet. This bedroom also features a desk, ideal for those who may need to work on vacation or need a quite place to write. The main level bathroom was recently remodeled to ensure comfort and ease, with a spacious marble countertop vanity and walk-in shower. A unique feature of this two-story unit is the spiral staircase to the second floor- please consider if traveling with young children. The expansive primary bedroom occupies the majority of the upstairs and is large, bright, and welcoming. The expanse creates a luxurious sanctuary filled with natural light from numerous windows that frame the mountain and city views. The bedroom seating area with a comfy chaise and a couple of chairs rests in the spacious suite. A flat-screen TV makes it inviting to indulge in movie night from the king-size bed. If it's a working vacation, there is a desk here as well. French doors open to an expansive tile terrace off this primary bedroom, with the added convenience of an external staircase leading down to street level. The bathroom on this level features a glass walk-in shower and sliding door to the east side of the terrace, making it feasible to arrive home after a crisp ocean swim, pop up the outside stairs, and jump in a nice warm shower without a grain of sand hitting the interior floors. Genius! On the upper patio, there is a nice sitting area, and a round dining table will be the ideal spot for any al fresco meal or casual conversation. There is also a stainless steel BBQ to delight the grill master in your group. This terrace offers a great bird's eye view to experience the vibe and energy of the neighborhood too. Guests can also enjoy the 4th of July fireworks or take a baseball game at Pershing Park during the summer season. As is typical with many Santa Barbara homes, this property does not have AC. Open windows and the use of fans allow ocean breezes in to keep the house cool during hot summer months. At this corner location in the heart of West Beach, the streets are alive with coastal visitors. There is parking for one car in the driveway. New beach chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards have been thoughtfully provided. Staying at Coastal Palm is a fantastic starting point with a fresh perspective. Its iconic place on the map makes it effortless to enjoy unique activities in Santa Barbara, especially those that revolve around sunny days on the beach, biking, paddling, sailing, or simply letting the warm sunshine soothe away the cares of the day. Hang out with locals and visitors alike who flock to so many popular attractions; The Funk Zone, State Street Promenade, the MOXI, Shoreline Park, and the weekly Arts & Craft Show are all within a reasonable walking distance. Spacious bedrooms and overall well appointed. No dishwasher or water line hook up for ice maker or water dispenser. Refrigerator stopped cooling last 2 days before we were to leave- over weekend (of a big storm) leaving us to cool things with bags of ice. Management was responsive and came next day but could not arrange repair on short notice. It is a good location. Walkable to beach and downtown. The house was clean and had everything that we needed. The upstairs master was enormous with a wonder outside sitting area. We could walk to the beach with lots of shops and restaurants close by. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the pots, pans, dishes and appliances (including sharp knives!) you need to make family dinners. It’s super spacious, and still comfortable, and each room is decorated beautifully. They have everything you need, and the communication was great! Plenty of room to spread out, you could easily have a large family or 3 couples stay here. Plus the beds are really comfy! The location is fantastic - a quick 5 minute walk to the water or to State street. We would absolutely stay here again! Look forward to our next visit :) ##### Jordan G.
