We did this as we love to be next to the sea and love to sit out on the balcony and have a few drinks. On arrival we found our apartment was on the ground floor with bushes in front of the balcony. You could not see over these unless you were stood up so there was no sitting down having drinks and looking at the beautiful view. We were really disappointed but they could not change our room. This should be advertised differently when you book and other guests were saying the same thing. We booked self catering so can’t comment on the food etc but the staff were really nice and rooms cleaned every day. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for a stay in the Sant Antonio Bay area! The room was spacious and had a lovely sea view, although sometimes there were some noisy night time swimmers at the beach in front but that was no issue. The hotel has a good size pool. There is a bus to/from the airport. If arriving /leaving late, a taxi would cost around 35-40 Euros. There are restaurants around the hotel and the walk to the Sant Antoni marina takes 20-30 min. Staff can arrange a boat trip to Formentera picking you up from the beach in front of the hotel. The room could benefit from having a fridge and a clothes dryer on the balcony. After you check out you can go to a beach and then use the complimentary shower room before going to the airport. This was very helpful. Receptionist was helpful however hotel management didn’t care about that and had to pay £300 extra for 2nd person ( 3 nights stay cost us in total £1000 in 3\* hotel ). Quite a lot but even with that at the end we were happy with our stay at this hotel. Other thing was that the room we had for 1st night was on ground floor next to the pool - disaster! We couldn’t have it changed as hotel was fully booked that night. Likely we were accommodated next day into 2nd floor room which was much much better ( but not ideal as the side wall with hotem name on it was blocking half of the view ).
