Our home has been completely renovated with all new flooring, open kitchen, new furnishings and much more. Our vacation home away from home is two floors and offers over 2000 sq ft of space perfect for a family to relax and have plenty of room for everyone. The main level features two bedrooms (queen and two twin beds) and one bathroom along with the living/dining/kitchen. Upstairs is the spacious master bedroom suite with en-suite bathroom along with a guest bedroom with two full beds and full bathroom. With the great central Island location, you're a short walk or bike to several shops and restaurants. The beach is a short car ride or bike away as well. We'll look forward to welcoming you to our home for your next vacation. We're sure you'll fall in love with Sanibel Island just as we did. However, beach chairs are a necessity for a beach house and there were only 2 tiny, flimsy chairs. This was a problem - I had to purchase my own chairs and then figure out what to do with them, or lose the several hundred $ they cost to acquire (the Ace hardware on Perwinkle charges $69 for a decent beach chair!). Also, per my comment above, a house that charges $12k/ month needs to be better appointed. I called the office when I found clothing and shoes left from the prior renter and the office said someone would pick them up. I left them outside in a labeled bag and they sat there for the duration of our stay. If I had left belongings at the house that the next renter found and took the time to call the office in an effort to return them to me, and the rental office never bothered to pick them up, I’d be very disappointed. It gave me the impression that the rental office did not care about its guests. This was a super easy thing for Dream Vacations to do for both me and the prior renter, but nothing was done.
