Everyone loved the home, it is an older house with many upgrades and amenities. We definitely loved that they provide phone chargers throughout the house. Plenty of blankets and towels for everyone. The house was very clean, and the check-in process was easy. The hosts thought of everything-plenty of towels, little packets of shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, etc. and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishware. Being a historic home there are some quirks (slow drains, practically no water pressure, lack of cabinets to put food, lack of closets in some rooms, etc.) but overall, it was a pleasant stay in a perfect location to access downtown Sanford. We had a big group (grandparents, an uncle, some cousins, mom and dad and our player). Easy walk or short ride to great restaurants in downtown Sanford. Unfortunately, we were not able to occupy the home for the time period that we booked over one year ago! After arriving and unloading our vehicles I immediately contacted the owner regarding a terrible odor in the home. It seems there is a plumbing issue that needs to be resolved. The home is quite adorable and in a great area of historic Sanford. We were very disappointed. We chose this home to be close to Venue 1902 for our daughters wedding. The owner quickly refunded our prepaid stay and we chose to locate a different property which worked out even better on Lake Mary. Although it was a few miles further, it was worth the travel time.
