I knew the house was beautiful from the photos, but had no idea how gorgeous, spacious, modern, clean and perfect it would really be. We had so much space for our two families of five plus grandma to sleep, hang out, cook, play. It was a great private neighborhood to walk with lots of hills. The house is beautiful, very well-appointed and has a very attractive view of Lake Pend Oreille. We used this as our home base while we made day trips to the northern Selkirks for hiking and to Sandpoint for shopping. It was so nice to come back to at the end of the day for peaceful respite. The hottub was well kept, and that was very much appreciated too. Communication with Kathryn was easy and warm. Only issue was that the outdoor fireplace did not work and it would have been nice for that to be communicated to us in advance. We had planned to have a NYE fondue party on the porch so we packed all the supplies for this just to be thwarted, not to mention the outdoor fireplace itself was a big selling point when we booked 8 months ago. We rented boats on the lake, went fishing, hiking, visited Silverwood Theme Park, golfed at the Idaho Club, shopped in Sandpoint and enjoyed the local restaurants. Very spacious house with room to spread out. Would highly recommend this property. It is on a gorgeous Jack Nicklaus designed golf course. The course is spectacular!
