Cabin was lovely. Private and cozy. The directions we were sent initially were not the correct location but we messaged the host and was rectified instantly. Was only slightly off. The cabin was clean and very cute; added wine as a welcome was awesome. Had some stuff left on the grill from previous renters but was a quick fix. Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend to others! Love the area!

This Robin's nest cabin was exactly what we needed for a nice relaxing extended weekend.The hosts are incredibly responsive and actually proactive with their messaging and it is evident they really want to ensure their guests are well looked after. The cabin is a treat, location is beautiful and we had great days staying totally at the cabin, along with a few easy day expeditions to attractions nearby. I'm a 6'3" tall man and was able to manage fine in this compact cabin and will not hesitate to stay at properties from these hosts again. Great experience and thank you for everything!

Had a very enjoyable stay in this cute & tiny cabin. It was nice & clean, the bed was very comfortable (although getting up the ultra slim spiral staircase isn’t easy, especially in the middle of the night to use the washroom) We were a bit confused on arrival, from the photos we thought the cabin was lakefront but it’s not, you have to walk down the driveway and across the road and through some bush to get to the lake. The outdoor shower is also down by the lake and is kind of overlooked by the neighbouring property (not sure if the dock / shower are shared with the neighbouring property)? The only small issue we had was that there were no coffee filters for the coffee machine so we ended up driving into Wasagaming first thing in the morning to get some, it’s a beautiful little town with lots of things to see and do so we did enjoy the little trip. Overall we had a very enjoyable weekend and would recommend this as a great place to relax and enjoy a beautiful part of Manitoba.

The amenities were in very good condition and really clean. We really enjoyed our stay! Preferably the shower could be in the bathroom though. And the windows could really use curtains.

Check in was easy, property was clean and ready for our stay, host communicated with us easily and promptly. Cute cabin that had everything as advertised. Included a complimentary bottle of wine which was wonderful. Kayaks were avaliable down by the shore. We had a amazing time and were very pleased wtih everything. We did see a bear, which ran off bery quickly and was not an issue. I would absolutely recommended.

PROS-Nice, cozy, quiet space, quiet lake, we watched movies, had the dock to ourselves for a sunset and played cards while the lake settled down, then the minnows started flip-flopping on the still lake surface. -Outdoor dinette was appreciated, we definitely needed the bug spray. -Firepit was lovely, wood available, in the evening we asked to use the axe from the wood shed down the trail to the lake to chop some kindling, host responded within 20min.-Quick drive to town, we loved Whitehouse Bakery and Poor Michaels EmporiumCONS-Spiral staircase demands mobility and confidence, not for those scared of heights or with limited mobility. -Lake is a few minutes walk away, not water front, it took us a few trips down to find the 'Lake' signs directing us, a sign on the signpost would help. -Outdoor shower is near the lake, not very private, not very accessible in place of the indoor (in the living room) shower. -Hot tub was in dire need of a good cleaning/water replacement, I looked for a skimming tool or sponge and didn't find anything. -Checked in the side shed attached to the cabin trying to find hot tub supplies, found the hot water tank and a few dead mice instead.-Both mini fridges had ice build up in freezers, one was having a hard time staying closed. We had nowhere to keep things frozen. -Bathroom had swollen door casings and an odor.. only one item in the medicine cabinetOverall, we had what we needed and enjoyed our stay in Riding Mountain!

Overall was exactly as expected. All listed amenities were available, photos are accurate, location was good. Two main issues were the bathroom lights, and a maintenance person showing up unannounced during the stay. The bathroom lights were all battery powered, two were dead and we were not able to charge them, the main light was motion activated and only stayed on for 15 seconds at a time. The maintenance was for the hottub outside, but with the cabin being very small, privacy is an issue. I was just getting out of the shower when he arrived, and as the hottub is directly outside the sliding doors/windows across from the shower (which is completely open to all windows as it’s located in the living room) he did look inside. It would have been good if the host let us know that he was coming and an approximate time, if available, so we could have been a bit more prepared. I did contact the host, and they apologized.

An overall positive experience. Finding the property was tricky, do not use the address in the listing through google or apple maps. It will not take you to the correct location. The host provides accurate GPS location in your check in email; use that! communication with the host was excellent. when we got lost using the apple maps he was quick to answer and resend the correct coordinates and followed up to ensure we made it there safely. upon check in we realized there was no sauna as the listing suggested, contacted the host who was again apologetic and said he would review the listing to ensure its accuracy. Beautiful cottage, inside and out. Clean and tidy/thoughtful with the amenities provided. Smart TV was a nice touch as it was a rainy day. Host left a little welcome gift which was very thoughtful. Hot tub was nice and warm, however missing two headrests. firewood was provided - very nice touch! there were two beds, but only bedding for one. We were a little disappointed to see that the dock had already been pulled in for the season, but this was understandable as it is mid October. However, we were additionally disappointed to see that the dock space is shared with another cottage on the property which was misleading as the ad stated "enjoy the sunset on the dock all to yourself". an overall positive experience and we will definitely be back. next time, just slightly better informed on what to expect. Thank you for a beautiful weekend.
