Each morning I awoke with bites on my body. A few at first, then more and more (windows were closed; not mosquito season). I contacted the management the third day and sent photos. They said they didn't have problems like that. I eventually asked for a 50% refund to cover the costs of treating all my clothing and belongs on my return. They responded "Could it be that you brought and will take the living beings (we don't know which ones) that caused the bites?". What's important to note here is that they seem to believe not only that I brought an infestation with me, but that it left with me.. they visually inspected the place but did not treat it! So good luck to everyone!\* No keys. Check in was a disaster. They have a vending machine that dispenses the keys, but the code they provided didn't work. I called the number on the vending machine, it didn't work. I called the number they had provided via emails, it went to voice mail. I ended up calling VRBO and they raised the management which reset the code. This was late at night on a Saturday... 1.5 hours of stress and running around in the dark! \* Lies. I had heard that to reduce congestion, San Sebastian has some free parking lots on the outskirts of the city. I asked the management about this before arriving; they wrote "You cannot park free in the street and there is no option to park oustside the city." -- but this was a lie - there is convenient, free parkin ##### Bob C. The noise on the street at night was terrible. We needed the window open as it was very hot and there were very loud people yelling and laughing until 4AM. The private parking was not available as stated in the description and the only available parking was 10-15 minutes away and very expensive. The furniture needs to be repaired or replaced - the sofa bed in the living room is torn with stuffing showing and is very uncomfortable. The double bed has one pillow to be shared by two people. Make sure to get actual directions for getting the key. Also, be aware there are switches on the wall to the left of the windows that control the exterior shutter system. We called the property manager and they did not offer to move us anywhere new and showed that they cared little for the issue we had with the property. We had to check into a hotel for the entire stay. They did not refund any of our money even though the property was not as advertised and we did not stay there for more than 15 minutes.
