Must have golf cart to get around, but the drive is exciting and you notice something new every time! Locals appreciate a drive to or from work if you have room. Food was great onsite but not great value, our server ms Vicki was lovely. limited options nearby. Bar was great when it was open; Wilbur and Edwin were great. Pools and property were clean and meticulously maintained. Loved our single poolside room. The kitchen was well appointed and very clean. It was high sorgrass season on the beach and you’d need a bulldozer to deal with that stuff properly. Definitely rent a cart in town on your way in so you can visit some other beaches. Fishing off the dock was great. We took advantage of the bikes and kayaks on site. Staff were awesome, friendly and attentive. Overall we had a great experience. The beaches in the immediate vicinity north and south were covered in trash - definitely not the resorts fault, but someone should deal with it. The Saturday BBQ is not to be missed! So if you want peace and quiet, this is the place. I would strongly suggest renting a golf cart for the week(better pricing) to get around. The location has one restaurant on property with friendly staff. Within walking distance is one other beach bar. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at the resort. They were super helpful and responsive to our needs. The two negatives are the location and secondly the Sandflies which were bad while we were there from Jan 5-19\. One final note, before leaving San Pedro hit one of the grocery stores to stock up as the units do have a full kitchen.
