It is about one mile from center of town, but we enjoyed a stroll down the clean, public beach each morning and evening. Checked in 18 July checked out 19 July staff refused to provide a receipt. We had no choice but to find other accommodations. We felt unsafe Two grandmother's, a mother and two small children we felt only option was to find other accommodations. With financial hardship we moved to Best Western Plus on mainland Belize. After many years using Expedia we were quite disappointed. We chose one of two rooms, but there are rusted utensils and dusty. We understand seaweed smell, but they have not done cleanup. I saw some hotels are cleaning seaweed.
