When I tried to flush, it overflew and flooded the entire bathroom. Instead of fixing the problem promptly and apologizing for the inconvenience, they simply offered me a plunger to fix it myself! When I pointed out that it was their responsibility to maintain the facility, the owner gave me an extremely bad attitude. We booked this facility specifically for the hot tub they listed on the website. Turned out the hot tub was not even working. Instead of apologizing, the owner, again, gave me an extremely bad attitude and told us to check out and look for another hotel, at 9pm!!! The towels and sheets were not properly washed and had lots of stains. The room had very poor insulation. It was noisy all night from upstairs. Terrible place and terrible stuff! Definitely to be avoided. The manager was grumpy, not very welcoming. It felt like we were an inconvenience. Parking was abundant. Our room (2 doubles) had a potent scent of air freshener. We ran the fan constantly to counter it. The beds were comfortable. The sheets were clean but very crunchy. It could use maintenance (toilet not fully attached to floor, closet door didn’t function, the curtains were off the rod, the “artwork” was hung behind the TV and the two pictures were exact copies, the mirror was hung behind the dresser). It could use a 21st century update or at least an eye for detail and some elbow grease. It was quiet-holiday weekend (no Cal Poly kids). Did not use/see the pool.
