All her instructions were accurate so we didn’t have to bother her. You are right next to Luquillo beach and everything was 5-10 mins away. Apartment was perfect for me and my husband and my best friend and her husband. Marie answered all my questions promptly in addition to giving me tips on activities in the area. Very affordable with a grocery store less than 10 minutes away. The area is safe and the gate makes it even more so. We walked the streets to get food and there was no issues at all. Very comfortable beds. A kitchen with everything you need to cook, celebrate, be on vacation. The set up of the house allows the rooms to be very cool for sleeping, but for the family to sit and play cards in the main room, and also for folks to sit out on this deep breezy porch that overlooks the ocean. It was clean, well stocked with supplies and had an amazing view of the ocean from the balcony. It is also close to the Rain Forest which is a must visit if you are staying on the east end of the island. The only things we had issues with was the a/c unit in the master bedroom stoppped working the last two days so it was a little humid/warmer in the room.we left the fans on to help, and there wasn’t a beach entry due to the boulders/rocks that lined the one beach area to the left of the property. Beautiful floors, and the amenities were off the charts! You name it, it's in there. Cabinets full of everything you might need...from food items to paper towels, ziploc bags, laundry detergent, books to read, games to play, surfboards, life jackets, band-aids, personal care items, dental floss and more! Unbelievable! The entraceway and some of the exterior needs upgrades, but the owner is working on improvements. This is the 3rd Vrbo we have stayed in across Puerto Rico, and by far our favorite! This apartment was cutely decorated and stocked with everything you could imagine, even an extra toothbrush! She had beach towels and chairs which we used on our adventures to the east and west of the apartment. The beach directly in front is not useable but the sound of the waves was great.
