There are three full bathrooms. Two full bathrooms are located on the first level, one being an ensuite bathroom for the master-suite bedroom. Palma Vista is adjacent to El Conquistador Resort and Las Cabezas de San Juan. The panoramic views from the villa and the terrace are beautiful. From the front, Las Cabezas de San Juan, The Lighthouse, Atlantic Ocean, and Caribbean Sea. From the back are impressive panoramic views of El Yunque National Rain Forest and the Puerto Rican mountains and beautiful views of the countryside and its flora. The sunset and sunrise from the top terrace are exquisite. One of the top beaches on the island of Puerto Rico, Seven Seas Beach is a popular beach for families and for snorkeling around the adjacent coral reefs, and various water sports. The clear waters are teeming with vibrant tropical fish around coral reef areas. Seven Seas Beach is also extremely safe for children, as offshore reefs protect the beach from waves and currents. The region is part of the National Parks System and is considered a 'World Blue Flag Beach'. To obtain the Blue Flag distinction, a beach must comply with a set of very strict standards in terms of water quality, safety and services, environmental education, and information. Blue Flag Beaches are continually monitored for water and land environmental safety. Seven Seas Beach, with spectacular blue waters and a beautiful sand beach is located at Las Croabas, Fajardo, Puerto Rico. In addition to being located directly at Seven Seas Beach, which means you do not need a car to get to the beach, only minutes away and within easy walking distance, are the beautiful beaches of Playa Escondida (Hidden Beach), Playa Colora (Red Beach) and Governor's Beach, which are three of the most secluded beaches you can find. This means that it is a romantic spot, it's certainly a great place for snorkeling and just to relax. Playa Escondida means 'hidden' and Playa Colora 'hot/red beach' in Spanish. Local companies or at local Marinas you can get and organize guided tours to take you for a fun day. Especially popular are the Kayak Tours of the Bioluminescent Laguna Grande, which is in Seven Seas Beach and next to Palma Vista Villa. Also 7 minutes by car and in the town of Fajardo ferryboats can take you to Vieques and Culebra, with more places to explore and World-renowned beaches to enjoy. Vieques and Culebra can also be reached by air from Ceiba Airport. Ceiba Airport, which is a 20-minute drive from Seven Seas and Palma Vista Villa, also services flights to other nearby island such as the US Virgin Islands. Nearby restaurants within walking distance were very nice. However we appreciated having a car to go boogie boarding, snorkeling, kayaking in the Biobay and hiking in the rain forest. The unit has everything that you need, including beach towel, boogie boards, coolers and amazing ice cubes. The internet is great as evidenced by the fact that we had 3 attorneys working remotely. The rooftop deck is amazing--you won't want to leave and explore. But please do! There are wonderful beaches and trails right by the condo. The condo could not have been better. I must say we were disappointed that many of the restaurants were closed at the beginning of the week.. not unusual for PR, but disappointing. We did the hike to hidden beach which was beautiful but were not able to do the kayak trip to the bio lagoon as there were no spots available. We were told we should have booked 2 weeks ahead. The rooftop patio has great views of the water and it’s a short 2 minute walk to the beach, which will be shorter when some road repairs are done. Communication with the property manager was easy and efficient when we had a minor issue. The private roof top deck was my favorite spot. The beach is right across the street with a path leading to a hidden beach which was a fun adventure. The area has some great restaurants and my family enjoyed trying all seafood and local dishes. There is so much to do, the bioluminescent bay kayak tour was our favorite excursion. The check in process was easy. The villa was spotless when we checked in. It was well stocked and had everything we needed for a beach vacation. Immediate surroundings were lovely - pool, reserved parking and rooftop breeze and views. The ocean was too rough most days to swim, but we enjoyed the beach, park and refreshments nearby. The roosters woke us earlier than we wanted, but we learned to take afternoon naps! Both restaurants within walking distance were excellent and we really enjoyed the preserve and lighthouse. We cooked a few meals in the very well equipped kitchen. Honestly everything was outfitted extremely well. Our host thought of everything…even found earplugs in the bedroom drawer! ##### Sandy L. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Xiomara, the property manager, answered questions that arose within minutes. She was very helpful. The balcony and deck were our favorite places to hang out, with beautiful views of the ocean. The LR arrangement was generously sized to accommodate all six of us for dinner. Our usual routine is to eat out for half our dinners, but the unit was so inviting that we cooked and ate nearly all our meals at home. Seven Seas beach is 2 minutes away and gorgeous. Two other secluded beaches are 25 minutes walk through an enchanted mangrove forest. The marina where we charted a boat for snorkeling was an 8 minute car ride. And our day in the Old City of San Juan was an easy 1 hour car ride away. Can't name anything that we weren't completely satisfied with. ##### Joel B. We were never inconvenienced (prior posts discuss a pesky rooster during morning hours but we didn’t find it noteworthy.) and the owner went above and beyond our lodging needs to make sure we had a lay of the land as it relates to recommended places to go and dine. Memorable elements are plenty as this unit is concerned but the penthouse patio above the lodging shines above all for catching the sun or to spy a star filled sky. We made use of the kitchen but not to the extent one could - all you need and more to dine in If you grow tired of eating out. It is worth noting that the owners really want you enjoy your stay: plenty of beach chairs, and coolers, to make beach outings pleasant. I will leave you with this: a visiting friend stayed at the local Conquistador resort and while it is a full service establishment we heard too many nightmare stories during their stay there to further solidify that our choice was a sound one. ##### Eric S. Loads of beach chairs, towels, items for your crew to setup your spot. Condo was solid. Updated kitchen and bathrooms were nice. Beds were comfortable. Location is very Puerto Rico. Nice condos Nextdoor and mobile home park surrounded by barbed wire across the street and behind. “Locals” beach was a short walk round the gate. During our stay, the street along the beach was under construction ( giant hole the size of a several swimming pools and kinda gated off). This caused us to make detours for most of our outings but was fine. Overall, I’d describe this as a “local’s vacation” spot. The property was clean and felt safe. The updated appliances were a huge plus. The roof deck was beautiful and spacious. The bedrooms offered comfortable bed, lots of storage space and the air conditioners in each bedroom allowed us all to keep the nighttime temperature to our liking without needing to cool the entire apartment. We didn’t receive information regarding our property manager, details and driving directions until we were almost 2 days into our stay. Luckily, we had received the email with the “keys” to our trip and thus had the basic information we needed. The road remains closed just east of the property. Once this road opens, the location will be much more convenient. Meanwhile, we made the most of it and this property worked well as a jumping off point for our adventures. The beach directly across from the property is popular with locals, but had seaweed and wasn’t the picturesque beach scene we were looking for - hidden beach, a mile down the trail, was spectacular. ##### Brenda B. This is an excellent vacation home just across the street from the beach. Well maintained and stocked and very comfortable. We cooked, brought in take out, barbecued on the rooftop, and drove a mile or so to Las Croabas, lined with various restaurants. Walkable but we drove and were lucky enough to always find a parking spot.The owner provides beach towels, easy to carry beach chairs, and a cooler and likely more, but that was suitable for us. The House of Pastelillos is a great lite food/beverage option at the beach, and a short walk from the condo. The water is calm and clear. A very convenient beach outing though it got crowded on the long holiday weekend. The owner provides an excellent list of activities, recommendations, places to shop, and other pertinent information. Most were still spot on, but if you are picky or food snob, you may want to google places. For example, we found a better assortment of meats at Econo, near Walmart although the nearby Pueblo was very convenient for staples.We had a wonderful stay.
