After check-in and entering our room, we discovered how dirty the place was: traces of blood on the pillow and a cockroach in the room. we decided to leave the room. The employee at the reception is very professional, he had to ask us to pay for the 1st night, but he agreed to cancel the 2nd night. Luckily we found a much cleaner room at the Holiday Inn Express next door with breakfast included. Its absolutely horrid. I had to leave and ask for my money back after walking into the hotel room less than 2 minutes later. You turn the light on to roaches running across the walls, sink, and counter. There was literal boogers flicked and wiped on the walls and what appeared to be some blood or something on the door. The website showed a beautiful swimming pool. The room had no telephone and no water cups. The so-called breakfast was just apple juice and orange juice and coffee and small cupcake-like muffins. The parking lot had several vehicles on jack stands and homeless people, knocking on my door wanting to charge their cell phones in my room. But the worst thing was in the morning as I said eating my muffins, two different female customers came in to the front desk complaining about bugs and cockroaches crawling all over them at night, and they were actually bitten, and you could see the bite marks on their skin. The first woman walked in with nothing but her underwear on because she washed all of her clothing to try and get the bugs out of them. She wanted the clerk at the front desk to put her clothing in a dryer to dry it out, but he just gave her plastic bags while she stood there shivering freezing her ass off in her wet underwear. The clerk said that he would give her a discount on her room charge. After she left the front lobby, a second woman came in about 10 minutes later with the same complaint and she wanted all of her money back but the court said no I can only give you a discount. Third customer came in to the front lobby a man, complaining that there was no hot water. Room was disgusting. Walls all filthy. Toilet was gross. Wall outlets falling out. Hole in the wall by the ac unit. All of the pillows, sheets, and blankets were stained. One stain in particular was definitely fecal matter. Trash left at the door. All kinds of sketchy things happening in the parking lot. Drugs, broken into cars, and people fighting.
