The property is only a short drive from the airport which made it convenient as a starting point. In a "gated neighborhood" with a parking place inside a locked gate, it seemed to be a secure place to stay in the residential area of Alajuela. Kevin's place was exactly what we needed for one night before flying out of SJO the next morning. It was very clean, lots of sleeping space for our family (3 separate bedrooms) and very convenient to the airport. Kevin was a great host and his communication was clear and prompt. He met us on our arrival, was very helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment lacked a sitting area or "living room"-type space (other than the table to eat at) so that might be a consideration for longer stays with a group. The neighborhood was safe and easy to find.
