Sheila had left me a message asking when we would arrive and said the room would most likely be ready once we arrived at 12:30 ish. The staff said they needed another 1 1/2 Hours. We decided to go somewhere else to stay as we didn't feel comfortable in this space and needed to get some sleep. Great location and amazing experience. I had lived in SF for many years before, but was visiting as a tourist so decided to try something new and stay in this quirky BnB. I was not disappointed. The house is obvious from the street with the many fun lights and decorations. We arrived late at night, but the host was still able to let us in, and in any case we had been given clear instructions how to get in otherwise. We found street parking each day we were there, though there is also a garage nearby. As you walk in, it's like the personal museum of the owner Sheila and you could spend a whole afternoon looking at all the decor and history in the house. The stay itself was smooth and loved how each room had their own character (we stayed in the Kendra West). Breakfast was delicious and we were able to talk to Sheila one morning and catch up on her story too and how this place came to be. There is also a beautiful garden in the back where you can also take your breakfast.
