Tabi\`s Terrific Oceanfront Condo - Pool, Hot Tub, Parking & Rooftop Deck! Introducing Tabi’s Terrific Condo, located on the 10th floor of the oceanfront high rise building Capri by the Sea. Just steps away from the Mission/Pacific Beach boardwalk and easy walking distance to Crystal pier, and all the shops, restaurants, and bars on both Mission Blvd and Garnet Avenue. Located on the tenth floor, the views from South Mission Beach to the La Jolla peninsula are simply breathtaking. The views have been highlighted in this unit with floor to ceiling windows that encompass every inch of the viewable space you could have from this amazing condo. This entire condo was completely remodeled in January 2019\. The new kitchen comes with new stainless appliances, lovely white cabinets, quartz countertops and is fully equipped for cooking and dining in at the table for 6 right in front of the awesome view! New Pergo-type flooring throughout and new electric forced-air central heating system. Large ceiling fans in each room and great ocean breezes will keep you cool. Black out blinds/verticals in the bedrooms will help you sleep in. In the living room there is a 65 inch TV and there are 55 inch TVs in each bedroom, all with Roku boxes and DVD players. The brand new beds have high quality mattresses, a California king, 2 queens and 1 extra double daybed in our "sunroom,” a part of the living room where you can lay to read a book and enjoy the view. NEED MORE ROOM? If you would like to travel with extended family or other families, we have three 1-bedrooms and three 2- bedrooms in this building; three in a row on the 9th floor, 909, 910 and 911 plus 1005 and 1010 right above them. Capri by the Sea offers every amenity you could want and need for your stay in San Diego. A single parking space is included with your reservation. The rooftop offers 360 views of Pacific Beach, with BBQ grills and picnic tables and lounge seating. A heated (80 degrees) pool and hot tub are located on the ground floor behind the Capri building and are accessible with your key fob. A washer and dryer (coin-operated) are located at the South end of the hallway just outside the condo. A trash and recycling chute is located on the North end. Your key fob gives access to that condo's floor, lobby, rooftop, garage and pool area. Check-in instructions sent via email will provide more details about how to obtain your keys/lock code and fobs. Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (\*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed) \*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Arrival/Departure Policy: Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm) Check out time is 11 am. Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call! Nightly Minimum Policy: 4 night minimum required in the off season. 6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option. (Please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!) ☀️ Holiday 2025 Policy: 6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 20-January 3). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day. \*An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you! ☀️ Summer 2025 Policy: Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2025, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. Last Minute Booking Policy: If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy. To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest’s face and holding either a Driver’s License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc. This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! Property kept well with a short walk down to the beach. There is no AC so only impacts very hot summer nights. You can rent an AC unit from management. There are a few fans in the unit. The primary bedroom bed was ok but we purchased pillows after the first night so we could sleep better. Others were rock hard. There are beach chairs and little kids toys available to borrow which was nice. There is a sand wash off station in the garage area with warm water which is super nice. Food delivers to the lobby since the access to elevator is secured. We walked on the beach each day and tried several restaurants in the area. We also visited a grocery store and utilized the fully stocked kitchen for many of our meals. The condo was clean. Exactly as pictured. The ability to rent a full crib on site was extremely helpful. Views over the beach were incredible. We loved the availability of boogie boards, beach towels and sand toys. Parking space was also convenient. Location made getting everywhere in the San Diego area easy. Had some trouble with a leaky sink, the hot tub didn’t work for a few days, guest room was dusty with stuff wiped on the wall, and the sheets smelled musty. Walking the beach and boardwalk was easy and wonderful. The condo was spacious and great for a family of five to stay. Our one complaint was that the showers were not very clean. Amenities were all very nice. The only issue was that the Master bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable, and is probably due for replacement.
