The Space: This 1 bedroom apartment is quite large, boasting 1000 square feet of living space. The upscale, 1/4 acre gated property has extensive landscaping with many retreat spaces to drink your coffee, take in the views and enjoy spectacular sunsets. Guest have access to the private, stainless steel hot tub spa that is located on the upper patio; with amazing views of the San Diego Harbor. Guests also enjoy the gas firepit area located on the lower level of the property; just steps from the apartment entrance. A Viking gas grill is available for grilling should guests wish to barbeque during their stay. The living room / bedroom space has a queen size bed and an additional daybed that can be used as two twin beds or made into a king bed. Plenty of high quality pillows and linens are provided for your stay. The kitchen has all baking and cooking essentials; a Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods, traditional drip coffee maker, full size refrigerator / freezer, blender, kitchen aid mixer and all the essential kitchenware you could need: plates, bowls, glassware, utensils and so much more. FREE coffee and tea, bottled water, creamer, and snacks are provided as well. Exercise equipment, ping pong table, beach chairs, cooler, beach umbrellas, all provided for your stay. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. They provided anything that I asked for. The property is gorgeous and so are the views. There is plenty of room inside. There is plenty of space for parking and everything was so close by. And there was not a lot of traffic wherever I went, which really surprised me. The owners' thoughtful touches are everywhere from a bowl of yummy snacks to beach towels and a big laundry hamper for the washer and dryer in the unit.The location is ideal to visit the best of sunny San Diego including the world famous Zoo and La Jolla to see the seals and art galleries. And it's just about half a mile from the airport car rental center. Great restaurants nearby for Italian, Mexican and seafood. Book your stay today! ##### Mat L. Parking was easy and everything we wanted to do was close by. The bed was cozy and the apartment was well appointed. This house is close to the airport which made it extremely convenient, although you will hear the planes flying in and out. ##### Carrie S. Close to everything and although it’s close to the airport in convenience there is no noise issue in the rental. Beautiful property to use with great communication from the owners. This is the PERFECT location when traveling with little kids. #1) We felt so safe with a gated driveway to load and unload the babies without worry of finding parking/ street traffic with young kids. #2) the backyard was heaven. We had access to the entire back area and my kids played and played. Especially loved the little trampoline! #3) All fun kid activities and parks were 15 minutes away. The location is awesome. #5) Our plane arrived mid morning and we desperately needed to get the kids somewhere quiet for nap. Tiffany was so sweet to allow us instant access! It made the first day that much sweeter. Everything was just as described and more. You can tell the hosts truly enjoyed decorating and preparing the space. I love all the sweet collections on display and the home away from home feeling. All the appliances, kitchen utensils and dishes seemed brand new and high end. We stayed for a full week and missed it once we got home. My toddler hasn’t stopped asking to go back to the “airplane house”. Thank you for opening your home!
