The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and there were plenty of towels. Close walking distance to restaurants, coffee, social scene, beach rental shops, the MB roller coaster -- everything you could want. Grocery stores are less than a mile away. It's a perfect location for Uber rides too. The house exceeded our expectations. We comfortably fit 10 people in. Nice patios, good kitchen. We all liked everything about it. Matthew and his crew were fantastic from the reservation process all the way through to the end of our stay. If I come back to San Diego with a big group again, I'm staying in this house. Michael- August 2016 This was one of our favorite vacations in our 26 years as a family. The home was better than described with many extras that were not advertised. We loved the a/c and the auto shades. The feel of the home was very comfortable and perfect for a beach location. The host was quick to respond to our questions and very helpful and friendly. The Belmont Beach House was well worth the value and our family has found a new favorite place to stay! There is plenty to do nearby and we were able to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. We had the BEST time in his beautiful home. The beach decor is beautiful, the kitchen is fully accessible, and we loved spending time outside on the two decks. Stephanie- June 2016 What a beautiful home. The photos do not do it justice. The two patios allow privacy for larger groups. The kitchen has all sorts of useful counter space for cooking at home. We didn't go out for breakfast once! It was so nice to have the bikes so we only needed to rent two others on or beach city exploration day. I loved how close we were to the sand. Only two blocks! The house is so close to the water and absolutely stunning. Even better than pictures. Such a perfect spot for a getaway. The house was easy to access and everything went smoothly. The only hiccup was that we had a package sent and were not able to access the mailbox until the end of the weekend when it was too late. We loved being able to be steps from the beach and also close to the bay. Loved walking the boardwalk and the space was perfect for our family with 3 separate bedrooms and 2.5 baths. This location is less than 10 min walk to Belmont park. Even though this is not a beachfront property the beach is 100 yards from the your front door. The 1st level outdoor seating area is not part of the property. The property management admitted to me that they have previously been accused of false advertising but those photos are good marketing and technically are of the same building so they continue to use them. In addition the air conditioning went out on day one of our stay. I complained via VRBO messenger of both issued and the company called me promising full refund of our night one stay if we agreed to keep the reservation. Because they called with their false promise and I don’t have record of it they are denying it. I recorded all of these issues within the app and via text message and they never responded until we left the property. They wouldn’t even answer their phone. I have spent 2+hrs on the phone with VRBO and will not stop escalating this until we are refunded. The person who had been calling me and promised a refund from the company magically “doesn’t work there anymore.” I hope the real owner of the property reads this because the property was filthy, many items broken, no toiletries, trash bags, dishwasher tabs provided. DO NOT STAY HERE or if you do contact VRBO on day 1 so they can step in. If you wait you can’t do much but wait on the phone for hours and hope VRBO does the right thing by stopping the scammers. ##### ashley c. We were just a few houses away from the ocean so the teens could come and go as they pleased to play in the water. The owner was very easy to get a hold of when we had a question. We loved using the bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas in the garage. The only downside was that the internet kept dropping and there was not enough shampoo, bath soap, or toilet paper.
