This property is located a few blocks from the beach and downtown area of Pacific Beach. It is a quieter neighborhood with many residents having lived there for a number of years. You will have access to the whole apartment! House rules < NO SHOES INSIDE > Please kindly remove your shoes while entering our house! We appreciate that you are taking care of our house! < NO SMOKING INSIDE > Please do not smoke inside our home! It is well appointed and fits two people adequately. The host was quick to communicate and apologized for the issues. I had no issues finding street parking. The owners were responsive however the duplex needs a great deal of repair. There was a window fan that was very loud and not terribly effective, the toilet is very low, the hot water in the shower is hard to regulate, the bathroom sink is small and doesn't allow for items to be placed there, the mattress on the bed slides into the middle. The hosts could not be more gracious. There was a heat wave moving through the area and they made sure we could sleep comfortably by having extra fans available and even a portable air conditioner. A mechanical issue arose during our stay and our hosts jumped right on it. They kept in contact throughout the entire process to assure we were not inconvenienced by the repair and even offered us access to another property during the repair, which only took a few hours. The location is fantastic! The neighborhood is quiet, but you are blocks from the beach and only a few blocks from restaurants, bars and shops. A perfect little getaway spot! ##### Eugene V.
