Ocean Beach is a great neighborhood. It close to all in San Diego yet if you want to just hang out at the beach it's a great beach for all. Swimming, boogie boarding, surfing, beach volleyball, tidepool exploring, evening bonfires, walks on the pier, sandcastle building and more. Our building is walking distance to great restaurants (2 blocks) and shopping. there is evening nightlife and live music nearby as well.  
  
Getting Around:  
  
Ocean Beach is one of San Diego’s most vibrant and walkable neighborhoods - perfect for both relaxation and adventure. Whether you're walking, biking, or driving, getting around is easy and convenient. OB is close to everything San Diego has to offer, yet it feels like its own coastal haven. Spend your days soaking up the sun on the beach just minutes away, where you can enjoy swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, beach volleyball, tidepool exploring, evening bonfires, sandcastle building, and peaceful walks on the pier. When the sun sets, the neighborhood comes alive with a laid-back nightlife scene and live music just blocks away.

• No Smoking • Guests ages 25+ unless family groups • Parking: garage access and street parking available for guests • Pets may be permitted with prior approval and a fee of $150 • Events/parties are not permitted and strictly enforced • Pack n' play and high chair available for rent - $25 each plus tax • As part of our standard verification process, we kindly request that the guest signs an additional agreement and verifies ID. Your comfort and security are important to us.

The property itself was great. Unfortunately you do wake up to homeless people camping out on the sidewalks or on the grass close to the beach. They were not a bother at all, but it was sad to see.

#### Great OB Vacation

The place was very clean, plenty of beach towels and good beds. Our son and his friend loved the proximity to the beach and we appreciated the nearby stores, bars and restaurants with ocean views. The backyard was great for BBQing and watching the surf. The dog beach was very fun to watch and close by. We will recommend this place to others.

#### great location but alittle disappointing

Location is awesome,,steps away from the beach. Cute inside and newly remodeled. However when we arrived and the house was completely covered in plastic as it was being painted. Windows were covered with plastic the entire time we were there as were the painters..Management responded when we reached out and we were given a substantial discount. Its a cute property and after all the updating is complete will be totally awesome

Great property, location and access to the beach. The master bathroom shower did not work and the second bathroom shower curtain needed to be weighed as it flew around the whole time.

#### Great location and cute house

For the most part, we really enjoyed our stay. The house is great for a family or group of friends. The location was central to everything we wanted to do, we were within walking distance of the beach, and the yard on the downstairs units was great for hanging out. The unit also came with beach toys for our use. The biggest drawback was that we could not get ahold of the property manager. She sent me messages about the check in process but when I reached back out with question about check in and parking, we never heard back from her. The handle in the master bath was also broken but I wasn’t able to report it to her since she didn’t respond to any of my other messages. Still overall mostly pleasant experience though.

#### Love the beach proximity

We had a great stay, house was clean and fully stocked. It was great to walk to the beach every day and it was very centrally located to everything. Only issue to call out was the airport noise. It was much louder than expected, maybe bc it was a holiday weekend or maybe bc it was foggy mornings and evenings but it was loud on Sunday and Monday, Tues was much quieter. Parking was fine to share a spot except the last night, Tues. The other car had to get out early for the airport so I couldn’t park there and it was street cleaning day Wed morning so we struggled for a spot

#### Ocean Beach condo

The condo was great, clean, and well appointed. However the description of Ocean Beach was not accurate. The beach was dirty with trash and urine smells. Homeless people on every corner wherever you walked. Wednesday night they said there was a Farmers market with music. All it was was a 1969 Woodstock party on the beach. People openly smoking weed and doing other drugs. I've live in California my entire life and never have seen a dirtier beach and unwelcome transients everywhere. Will never go back. Very embarrassing bringing friends from out of town to see this mess.

#### Great location and lovely outdoor areas

Great location can walk to beach, pier, bars and restaurants, coffee houses, shopping, and party stores. We really enjoyed the front yard nice table and chairs to sit at. My grandchildren and the adult family members enjoyed being outdoors here. Great Farmers Market on Wednesday. Beds were very comfortable. Showers worked well. Only suggestion is to update the furniture in living area and the kitchen stools.

#### Very very dirty apartment

I was surprised how dirty the apartment was and the host did not even bother to respond when I messaged her about it. All beds had stains and bunch of hair in it. Rugs and floors still dirty with crumbs. Pillows, couch, and chairs are covered in stains and smells disgusting. Back gate door been broken the entire time. Only things we liked was how easy was check in and how close it was to the beach. Overall i wouldnt book this place again.

#### Friends Getaway

My friends and I were looking to get away and relax for a few days, and this Cottage was perfect! Communications with the host were easy. The check in process was seamless. The Cottage was clean and big enough to comfortably sleep 5 adults. The location was great! Ocean views from the windows, a quick walk to the beach and to downtown Ocean Beach, a short drive to Pacific Beach or Downtown San Diego, and easy access to the airport. My only wish is that we stayed longer! I hope everyone staying here enjoys this Cottage as much as we did.

It was a clean unit with close access to the beach and tons of restaurants. There were chairs and boogie boards available for use and easy keyless entry. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would go back!
