- Please be aware that there is currently an ongoing remodel of the home next door to our property. To our knowledge working hours are between 8 am-5 pm Monday through Friday and may cause a noise disruption, however, we are unaware of a completion date at this time.
- Please note that this home does not have a dishwasher, for extra cleaning services during your stay contact our Customer Experience team and we'd be happy to arrange them for you for an additional fee.
- Please note that this home does not have AC or a dishwasher.
- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- We no longer have bikes available at this property.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- This home is located in a neighborhood with a strict noise ordinance policy and therefore is only suitable for quieter groups. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000.
- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Same-day bookings are not permitted.
- Absolutely no exterior amplified music is allowed. Violations will result in a $500 fine.
- While we do our best to notify guests in advance, unannounced power outages may occur due to unexpected city maintenance.
- No events are allowed unless pre-approved and coordinated through Avantstay. This includes but is not limited to: rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and social gatherings.
- All guests must comply with local laws regarding outdoor lighting, quiet hours, and limitations on parties or gatherings.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

Amazing location outdoor space

We truly loved our time here. The location is unbeatable and the private backyard plus little beach area in the front is well maintained and perfect for some lounge and play spaces. Hot tub is also well maintained! The physical dwelling is a tad older - older appliances, creaky doors kind of thing, but definitely clean!

Graduation getaway

We have stayed in many VRBO in the area and particularly enjoyed this location. Right on Mission Bay with views of the water, walking on the paths, close to coffee shop and local merchants. It is a cute and very “Beachy” house. Although small, it lives big with adequate size bedrooms. Sharing one bath for 5 people wasn’t the problem I thought it would be. Two sketchy items: the driveway dumps you into a blind curve-be careful. The bathtub is a challenge to get in and out of for elderly..the device and host were exceptional. The home and linens clean

First time VRBO AvantStay

Truth be told, I was a bit nervous about renting a house as I’ve never done so before. We were in town participating in the SusanGKomen 3day and decided to make a week vacation out of our trip. I could not have been more absolutely thrilled with this property. It was adorable, Exactly as described, and had every amenity that you could possibly want. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, convenient drive to many tourist destinations and local restaurants. Only downfall we found was the lack of air-conditioning, which was listed in the description. Once you opened the windows, it cooled quickly.

Quick trip. 2 nights in a convenient mission bay location. House is updated but still holding on to its original feel. Back yard is big and nice for entertaining. Easy walk to the water. My only issue is the claw foot bath tub is a little cumbersome to climb in and out to take showers. Still a 5 star rental!

Great house in a fantastic location

Very relaxing location. kids got lots of paddle boarding in and beach time. You don’t realize it but you are very close to freeway access and the rest of San Diego is 20 minutes away.

Celebration of life

Although, the pictures are deceiving online, the property was quaint and fairly quiet. What I did like was the staff texted me to let me know if anything was needed. They would be there to help and that they were just a phone call away. The house was decorated very cute. We enjoyed the nightlife of the patio and were able to have fun sit around and talk. The things I did not like was the Jacuzzi was overly shocked, and our eyes would burn to even get in it. Therefore, we didn’t get a whole lot of enjoyment out of the Jacuzzi. I should’ve asked if there was air-conditioning that is on me. The only time is actually bearable was in the evening where the breeze would come in through the windows. Plane games in the back became a little difficult due to lighting. The only lights that actually worked were the black plug-in lights on the back patio. The lamp lights did not work. The kitchen was stocked with all the cookware needed. The blender needed replaced so I actually replaced it with a new one so you may want to do away with the old one. I also added a small Keurig. I want to thank AvantStay and the owner for the hospitality. It was a central location close to so many things and this trip was a way to reflect on times in California as my spouse and I spent a lot of time here because this is where he was born and grew up.
