It was exactly as advertised. The apartment was spacious and clean. Although the elevator was not working while we were there, everything else was nice. The walk is long to Petco, but doable. Close to Gaslamp and Convention Center. The apartment has everything we needed: a full kitchen, a living room with pullout couch, a bedroom and even a washing machine and dryer. And it's a walking distance to a grocery store, Gaslamp Quarter (about 15 minute walk) and the Convention Center (about 25 minute walk). Be prepared to see homeless on every corner and on the streets as you walk to/from the hotel from the Gaslamp or the convention center. The customer service/landlord was very accommodating and could be easily reached. Pull-out couch has seen better days and was not comfortable. They were very accommodating for the check-in process and even gave us a special rate if we wished to extend our stay. The apartment had everything we needed. One thing I would be remiss to not mention is the location. It is not in a safe area. We avoided walking for this reason. Every Uber driver said the same thing. Homeless people surround the building and were doing drugs day and night, fighting, etc. A family staying in the building mentioned their child had been spat on that day. As mentioned, the hosts were wonderful and this is not something in their control, but we did want to mention this to warn people staying alone and for those with children. Plenty of space with wrap around balcony and rooftop space. It’s quiet inside, with everything you need. Parking space is visible from unit entry door, worth the fee. There was a few blinds missing, which was a little annoying in the morning in the bedroom. And the cabinet faces were peeling a little bit, but other than that, it was a huge place. They were very good at getting back to me. There was a grocery store across the street and one up the block too. It was near a few restaurants and had a beautiful view of San Diego. I think if the blinds were fixed and the cabinets were fixed, this would be a 10 out of 10\.
