Kensington is a quaint, walkable neighborhood with a small town feel in the big city. Downtown, Gaslamp District, Petco Park, Convention Center/Comic-Con, San Diego International Airport, Mission Beach, Balboa Park, the Zoo, Sea World, Snap Dragon Stadium, SDSU and more are all 15 minutes away (or less!). During your stay, stroll tree lined streets admiring beautiful craftsman and Spanish revival architecture as you make your way to the colorful main drag of Adams Avenue. Here you will find everything you need: top tier restaurants, cafes, bars, brewery, village market with gourmet treats, community library and park. Annual events such as Taste of Adams, Unplugged, and Adams Ave Street Fair, as well as neighborhood events such as holiday parades and markets draw visitors and locals alike. Enjoy a lively nightlife scene on the renown Adams Ave, which runs from Kensington through Normal Heights to North Park and University Heights. Each of these unique neighborhoods has its own character with many bars, breweries, and events to choose from, such as pop up art shows, comedy shows and live music.
Fall in love with this quiet yet central location, 15 minutes or less to major attractions in San Diego! Nearby freeways include the 15, the 8, and the 805. You have access to one assigned, off-street parking space and a two car garage, both accessible through the alley. A bus stop on Adams Ave or El Cajon Blvd is walking distance. Uber/Lyft are great options for getting around without a car. 15 minutes from San Diego International Airport.
Please keep in mind that you will be staying in a private residence. Before booking, please review the House Rules and treat our home with the utmost respect. Your hosts are available 24/7 to address any issues that may arise during your stay and resolve them as quickly as possible. This agreement is between you, the named person in email correspondence ("Guest"), and the owner, Caleb Ridgway and Chine Osisioma ("Owners"), for the property for the dates specified. By clicking OK and making payment you agree to these terms.
1. SMOKING is NOT allowed. Smoking in the house or outside on the property, or any pets on the premises may incur an additional fee. If found smoking on the property, you could be charged up to $1000 in fines.
PETS are allowed but must be approved by the host. Notify the host of how many pets and the type of pets you plan to bring at the time of your reservation. We charge $100 per stay for pets, and collect a fully refundable $250 security deposit. Our maximum is 2 pets. Guests are asked to complete and sign a copy of our pet Agreement (contract). We have several restrictions - no puppies under 1 year, dogs must be spayed or neutered (less likely to mark, to be aggressive, to roam, often are more calm, etc.), dogs must be well behaved on leash, and owners must agree to keep dogs on leash whenever they are outdoors. Guests must pick up after their pets. Pets are not allowed on the beds. Guest must report any property damage immediately. It is the guest’s responsibility to control the barking of their dogs. Guests are responsible for ensuring that their pets remain in the front (4463) unit and its front and rear yards. Under no circumstances are pets allowed in the indoor and outdoor spaces belonging to the back unit (4461). Guests must ensure their pets do not disturb the back unit (4461) tenants.
2. PERSONAL PROPERTY AND INJURY: The property is privately owned; the Owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities. Any person in/on the property is the sole responsibility of the Guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. Renters and Guests' personal property, including vehicles, are not insured by the Owners against loss or damage due to negligent acts of others or any other cause. The Owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest. The Owners are not responsible for any damage to personal articles washed in the supplied washer or dryer.
3. SLEEPING CAPACITY/DISTURBANCES: Guests will be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee for any of the following: Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity stated on the reservation confirmation. That is, people other than those listed in the Guest party made at the time of rental request may not stay overnight in the property. Bringing a pet to the property without first notifying the hosts. Using the premises for any illegal activity, but not limited to the possession, serving or consumption of alcoholic beverages by or to persons less than 21 years of age. Causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties. Any other acts which interferes with the neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their property.
4. NOISE: Please respect our wonderful neighbors by keeping the volume reasonable. Minimize outdoor noise or large groups outside the house after 9:00 PM. Quiet hours are 9 pm – 8 am. Excessive noise and disturbances exposes us to fines of more than $1000 from the city. Any fines levied by the city due excessive noise will be passed through to the responsible guests. You could be charged fines of up to $1000 for excessive noise.
5. Report any damage to the Owners immediately. Use furniture and appliances for their intended uses only. If any damages are found unreported after checkout, you could be charged damages of up to $1000
6. PLUMBING: Please do not flush anything other than toilet tissue in the toilet. No flushable wipes, paper towels, feminine products or baby products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that improper materials have been flushed and clog the system, you could be charged damages of up to $1000.
7. WHAT WE SUPPLY: The property is equipped and set up as fully furnished, including linens, blankets, pillows, towels, furnishings and furniture. Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.
8. PARKING: Three assigned off street parking spaces in the driveway accessible from the front of the property on 42nd st are offered with the reservation. Street parking is also available.
9. CLEANING: YOU ARE REQUIRED to leave the property, including the furniture, in the same general condition as when you first occupied it.
10. CHECK-OUT: You are required to follow the check-out checklist that is posted on the refrigerator. Guests who do not complete each item on the checklist may be subject to additional charges.

This was such a beautiful home in a central location! My crew had such a great time in all of the shared spaces such as the living room & backyard. Very cozy and clean home:) Alex made sure to make our stay welcoming.
Perfect Stay in San Diego!We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful three-bedroom house in San Diego, and we couldn’t have been more impressed! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this home is thoughtfully designed and maintained. The space is incredibly spacious, with comfortable, furniture and modern amenities that made our stay feel like a true getaway.The living room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of natural light and TV for family movie nights. Each of the three bedrooms was clean, with comfortable beds, TV and plenty of closet space.What really made this property stand out, though, was its location. It’s conveniently situated close to all the major attractions in San Diego – from the beach to Balboa Park, San Diego State University, Morley Park Disc Golf, restaurants in the area. Plus, the neighborhood itself is peaceful and welcoming, perfect for relaxing after a busy day exploring the city.The host was extremely responsive and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a stress-free stay.
