THE SPACE Bayview is on a peaceful street in a great neighborhood, yet just 5 minutes to the heart of downtown and all the action, you couldn't stay in a more ideal location. You can walk to many of San Diego's top attractions, and drive to the rest in just 10-15 minutes! Located on the first level of a recently remodeled duplex, BayView offers a wonderful open floor plan, modern decor and an upgraded kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. There are two bedrooms; the master has a super comfy king bed, private half bath and large walk-in closet while the second bedroom has beautiful canopy queen bed and a large closet. The back yard was our favorite spot - quiet and birds chirping in the morning and after long days watching the sunset at night. It was very peaceful and safe neighborhood.Close to tons of attractions The bed was firm with softer pillows that helped balanced out the bed and it was so comfortable. We read reviews about it being loud - to be honest the airplanes you can hear, but it isn’t bothersome. You mainly hear it in the living room but it never disrupted any sleep. On our first night we did hear the people upstairs, walking moving things and I think the plumbing system could be connected to the bedroom because we did hear the flushes which was probably more loud than the airplanes, granted it’s a historical neighborhood, and none of it disrupted sleep or our stay. A very clean property (smelled wonderful!) with everything we needed. And the pillows were my favorite! I need to know what kind of pillows are on the beds and where to find them! They were heavenly! Great experience. We did have to Uber to restaurants, shopping and grocery stores, but Uber's were super quick in this area. Clean, beautiful, had amazing views and easy access to airport and the MCRD. We didn't use much but the owners had everything you could possibly need if you were flying in and came with limited luggage. Nice view. Very clean. Felt like home. Great communication with owners. Plane sound wasn't an issue. Sound machine in each bedroom was awesome since we all sleep with sound machines at home. I would definitely recommend staying here. I went with family but this place can also be romantic for a couple. Your home is in the perfect location, everything we did was within 15-20 mins. Thank you for leaving the binder with so much information on excursions, restaurants, shopping and sights to see. We have stayed at many different places and that is not always offered. The owners were easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had promptly. The home was clean, perfect size and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend and will definitely stay again when in the San Diego area. ##### DeAnn J. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of linens provided, basics like toiletries, spices, storage baggies, washing detergent, was provided. Communication with the host was superb. They replied to any questions very quickly and made themselves easily available. The view was breathtaking, and we loved how central the property was to all the places we went to. The walls and ceiling are very thin. We were lucky to have quiet upstairs guests the first half of our stay, but had others that stayed up late the latter part of our stay. We knew all this going in by reading previous reviews. We enjoyed our stay at this property and would recommend it. ##### Rachel W. My flight was a little early so I reached out the property manager who let my family and I check in earlier than scheduled.
