DESCRIPTION
Welcome to Mission Beach Break, a nicely updated vacation home with an upstairs open living area that takes advantage of the views of Mission Beach and the ocean.
The full-size kitchen features granite counters and stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar. The adjacent dining area has seating for 6 and opens to the living area with a sectional sofa, tv, and fireplace. Just off the living area is a beach view balcony and gas BBQ to grill up your favorite meal while watching the waves crash on the beach!

The entry and all 3 bedrooms are on the first level along and an open stairwell to the living area above. The Primary suite has a large comfy king bed, plenty of closet space, and an en suite bathroom with dual sinks and a walk-in shower with dual showerheads. Bedroom 2 comes with a queen bed and TV, and Bedroom 3 has a twin over full bunk bed and a twin trundle bed. The first level also features a full bath and a stack washer/dryer for your convenience.

Wake up and step on the beach!

If you're looking to spend all your time on mission beach and not a lot of commuting this location is perfect. You literally walk out the door and the sand is 30ft away. It is old but in pretty good condition. The only reason I didn't give this house 5 stars was the master bedroom carpet, the garage and no A/C.That carpet needs to go. I'm a no shoes in a home person, but I couldn't with that carpet, it's so old and dirty. Too thick for SD moisture. The garage is almost impossible to get into and once you're in you have about 8 inches of space to exit your vehicle, so unload everyone and everything before pulling in. It is not 2 car side by side just a long tiny space. We had to have all windows open to have air flow in the house, it wasn't a huge deal until night time when you cant have them open because of the cars on the roads. Otherwise the place is okay. Theres cafés near by. Olive was the best. You get free bike rentals with your booking.

Great place and location!

Really loved it. Would stay again without a doubt. Garage only works for a small car as it's extremely narrow (as accurately described). Unlimited rentals for beach gear, bikes, etc. Fantastic all around.

Great location for many of San Diego's adventures. The garage is tight, and parking was a little challenging however there is overnight parking very close and free, 3-minute walk is a joy on the bay side. Very good places to eat, especially right across the street at the Funky Lemon.

Absolutely loved our time here. It's close to the beach, has an ocean view!The bedrooms and bathrooms are nice. Plenty of hot water for all.We've been to Mission Beach several times and this is the best place we've stayed.

Wonderful location!

The location was ideal being just one block back from the beach. The space was fine for our group of 7. We did have some issues with gaining access due to the door lock code did not work, necessitating a call a couple of times until a new code was granted.We were new to staying in this area with parking being a big issue. The available garage could really only accommodate one vehicle and one must be extremely careful entering without scratching your car given how little space width wise. We backed the van into the garage to make exiting easier ( with another person guiding the driver backing in) and the driver had to squeeze out the driver’s window to exit once parked. There is street parking nearby but one needs to periodically move for street cleaning depending upon the day. Just be aware of these limitations. Overall, it’s a very nice and safe property with truly excellent beach access.

Excellent location/great for families

We enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms were spacious and perfect for our family of 4. The home didn’t have A/C, but plenty of windows and fans to keep it cool. The only downside is the garage is very low and tight. We weren’t able to fit our compact SUV, but found public parking nearby.

Great time at the beach!

This property’s location was perfect. Just steps away from the beach. Close to many restaurants. The property itself was very nice. Plenty of living space for our party of five and the bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. Only drawback was we couldn’t park our car in the garage. We have a midsize SUV and it would not fit. Eventually found street parking but it was difficult every day. If you have a smaller car the garage is perfect. Also in the garage was plenty of items for the beach which was very helpful. We would stay here again.

Great Family Getaway

It's important to note this property does not have air conditioning and the rooms can get a bit steamy, especially the bedrooms. However all rooms are equipped with fans and the proximity to the beach provides a cool breeze and we were able to keep the unit comfortable. That said, the house is fantastic and you can't beat the location. The property management was great to work with and very responsive to our questions/requests. Don't bother with a rental car as parking is a major problem and you don't need one. Rent bikes for your stay and Uber. the balcony is a bit small but the view of the beach/ocean is excellent!

Family summer vacation

Our family had the best time at Mission beach. The condo is conveniently located steps from the beach and bay. Beds were comfortable. Condo felt very spacious upstairs with the vaulted ceilings. There were a few things falling apart that we communicated with the property manager and said they would fix upon our departure. The garage is very low and so we were not able to park our truck in it. It might fit a small sedan. Overall we had a great time and would definitely rent this condo again.

Great location to beach and bay!

Our stay was very comfortable, the condo was very spacious. Great kitchen space and cookware. Very short walk to the beach, bay and Belmont Park. Lots of great eating places within walking distance. We drove a Honda Civic and a MDX and they both fit in the garage, it was a tight fit but it worked. We could see the fire works from Sea World, and it is very close to La Jolla Aquarium, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park and Old Town. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Great location

Very close to beach and had nice views from top floor. Landlord was very attentive via text. Garage is very deep but not very tall or wide. We could not fit our F150 but managed to squeeze the Jeep Grand Cherokee in.
