All three bedrooms have been elegantly furnished and have ensuite bathrooms and plenty of storage space, so they’re both practical and stylish. There’s room to spare, even for a large group of friends or business travelers. The primary bedroom is on the third floor and has a Scandinavian vibe and surpasses a typical hotel room in terms of comfort and style! A king-sized bed sits majestically in the center of the room, with an impressive wood headboard. Matching drawers and bedside tables complete the look. Opposite the bed is a large flat-screen TV, so you can stretch out and enjoy your favorite TV shows from the comfort of your room. Three bedrooms with our own bathrooms was a plus. Walking distance to the Pearl as well as several other restaurants. Great workout with lots of stairs! Just a short drive or Uber to the Riverwalk. Beds were comfy although pretty creaky. Location was good with easy access to sights. We walked to the Velvet Taco and would highly recommend their unique delicious food. We also walked to the Pearl and saw Christmas lights on the River Walk there. Lots of photo ops. The Lonesome Rose next door had a nice outdoor area but was kind of loud between 12 and 2am. Be warned that this is a tri level house. First floor bedroom means that person still has to navigate stairs to get to the living room. Other 2 bedrooms are on the 3rd floor. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is great. Also be warned that the outside patio of a restaurant is next door to one side of the house does stay open pretty late (definitely well past 10). So if you have anyone that needs to or does go to sleep early, this may be a bother. Separate air control for all 3 levels is also a plus! ##### James H. The place was fairly new and beautiful. The neighborhood was decent. We didn't hear anything from the restaurant/bar that was a short distance from our balcony. We loved the location. It was within 10-15 minutes drive of everything we wanted on the Riverwalk. ... Beware of one thing: The unit is three stories, with one bedroom on the ground floor off the garage and two bedrooms on the third floor. If you are older like us, or have somebody recovering from a broken ankle (also us) getting up and down the stairs is a challenge. ##### Larry B. A primary purpose of this trip was a cooking class at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). The CIA was an easy walk through a neighborhood where we felt safe. In the same area as the CIA (generally referred to as The Pearl District, I think) there's a weekend farmer's market, many restaurants, coffee shops, artisan shops, and bars. There's also an entrance to the River Walk; It's about 1.5 miles from this entrance to downtown near the Alamo. The house has 3 levels. The ground-level bedroom caught a lot of noise from the outdoor seating of the bar next door. The noise wasn't a problem for common areas on the middle floor or the bedrooms at the top. The ceilings are high, which means quite a few stairs to get between floors, so keep that in mind if stairs are a problem. Food for cook-at-home meals can be found at an HEB grocery store an easy 2-ish mile drive, on W. Olmos. If you go there, don't take the most direct route -- do some zig-zags of cross streets where you'll pass by some beautiful old homes/estates. ##### Diane V. The property is extremely clean, new and modern. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Furniture and decor tasteful and modern. It's a very nice multilevel town home. The neighborhood is good with the police station right across the street. It's is north of town. About a 10 min walk or so to the Pearl District which we really enjoyed. We didn't rent a car so we walked and Ubered everywhere. During the day we walked all the way downtown for site seeing and exploring San Antonio. Then we would Uber back at night. I would definitely stay again if we returned to San Antonio. Very nice place! Things to know- there are lots of stairs not real fun getting luggage up to the top floor :) But we managed just fine. Didn't notice the half bathroom on the landing area near the living area until the last day, ha! We had been going all the way up to the top floor for restroom breaks. One other note, if you are a light sleeper there is a bar next door that has an outdoor area that you can hear. Saturday night was the night we most noticed how loud they were. The other nights it was mild and didn't really bother us much. Overall the stay was very nice and memorable and we appreciated staying there. ##### Leilani G.
