It had several nice touches: the vaulted ceilings made a small space feel bigger, the plants in the kitchen windows were nice. The places that needed to be clean were clean - the kitchen, the bathroom, the bedroom. Some finishing touches would be nice, such as a soap dish and bath rug for the slippery floor. The front porch furniture was filthy. The location close to downtown is good, and there is a very good bar/cafe down the street (The Cherrity Bar). It is a rough part of town though, lots of angry dogs in fenced yards, glass in the streets. Owners were not responsive. The first day I was there I sent an email about TV not working, 3 days later I heard nothing and the TV still doesn't work. ##### john d. I’ve proposed and got engaged to the love of my life as for the property, the stay was great! However, there were a few things that could have been better. Such as the cleanliness of everything. Also, we had trouble immediately with the Wi-Fi as there was no Wi-Fi router or password put up anywhere. The only way to get the Wi-Fi was to contact the property owner and have him message me back-and-forth through the Vrbo app. You can see how this is ideal as the VRBO messaging section in the app is very slow and not only that, but the property manager was very, very slow to respond. Like an entire day. I would say this score I am giving is very generous, considering we work from home and live off of our electronics. Lastly, I had to have the property managers roommate, come by in person and help set up the bedroom TV to the Wi-Fi because it was not set up for anyone other than one specific person.
