« My husband and I booked this cottage for a short getaway from Tacoma. The cottage was easy to find, and parking was clearly labeled. The cottage is on the property of the hosts, main house, but it felt much more private than that. The Space felt very spacious, there were tons of outlets to plug-in our devices, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for any light meals. They even had an organized drawer with miscellaneous things like tape, safety pins, pens, extra chargers, etc....

« This is a great location, right on the river. The unit is behind the owner's house but there is complete privacy. The unit itself is first class construction and very clean. Very nice! »

« Other than the TV volume not working, I would stay here again but not without a rental car or e-bike as it is difficult to walk directly to restaurants or grocery stores due to cul de sacs and fenced in properties. Very nice cottage for up to 2 persons and very responsive hosts. Go Tartans! »

« We had a good time. Our stay was not about the rental, just a bed to sleep in. It was fun in the fact that it was such a small space with everything but a couch and a t.v. Only complaints were it was hot up in lofty area, no air and then the dog scared the bageebers out of us on our way out. But had all things needed for a short stay:) »

« The place is really cute, owner has put a lot of thought into making it feel like a retreat. The frosted windows provide privacy. I would offer more variety of teas though… the kind in individual packages. The blankets and comforters were amazingly soft and fluffy and makes me want to find those and buy them myself. Hot tub was not hot when we got there for the first night so that was a bummer… we don’t often spend money to travel like this and considered it a big splurge to get a place with a...

« I come over to West Seattle monthly for diving. I stay in this unit for several reasons - first and foremost, it is cool. If you recall the Grunge explosion, this will be like sleeping in nostaglia. Excellent and eclectic records collection. It is close the restaurants (walking distance) and on the beach. Recommend it for anyone. »

« This was the perfect get away location. It allowed you to feel incredibly remote, while also only being 20-25 minutes away from major tourist locations. Dave and Eileen couldn't have been better or more gracious hosts. They provided excellent recommendations of how to do the touristy stuff, but not feel like a tourist. « My husband and I stayed at the Ballard Sunset Hill Guest House for 2 nights during our anniversary trip. The home was exactly as described and perfect for us! The hosts were incredibly friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them. They were happy to provide recommendations to us, which we took and were very happy with! They also provide a guide when staying that has tons of helpful information including hand drawn maps of neighborhoods around the area. We had a lovely time! »
