The hotel / apartments totally exceeded all our expectations and every single staff member went out of their way to help and ensure our stay was smooth and stress free. Well set up with everything needed to be self sufficient and self cater. It was the perfect base for my family to visit Salzburg and the surrounding area. The apartment inside is huge - big living room, balcony, bathroom, and bedrooms. Everything was modern, and clean. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning in Salzburg was nice for the unusual heat wave that was going on (although it is centrally disabled most nights so if it's hot you should open your windows - that's my only complaint). We had a view to the courtyard area and that was really nice. The location is great - easy walk to Mirabell Palace, and a little further for the rest of old Salzburg. But it's just a block walk to bus stops, and the buses are so frequent and convenient in Salzburg it's better to just take those a few stops to get where you want. We rented a car for part of our stay, and the parking garage under the building was so convenient. Just drive in and park, tell them your license plate number at the desk, and it's only $25/day. Elevator from the garage goes directly up to the apartment floors. This was one less thing to worry about. Other amenities - gym and sauna looked nice.
