It is family owned and they run it like you are family visiting! Staff are very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast has many options and the food is fresh and beautifully displayed I almost didn’t want to ruin the presentation. Rooms are spacious enough with new modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. It’s a quiet neighborhood so noise is not a issue. One of the best restaurants in town (Zwettlers Wirtshaus) is right next door. Location is central so easy walking to all sights. It is in the old town and parking bollards are placed at several entrances to minimize car thoroughfare. This makes it very quiet and walkable. It was within walking distance to every important sight in the city. Loved being so close to the fortress, the little shops and restaurants, a block away from the river... It was an easy bus ride from the train station. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very modern. The breakfast room was extremely charming. The white table cloths and flowers on every table gave it a special feeling. The food was excellent and there was a wide variety to choose from.
