Beautiful villa! 10/10 Excellent "My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay here at Horizon's Edge! This home was a great fit for 7 adults (my parents, siblings, and our partners) and even though we all looked at pictures of the house in anticipation and preparation, everyone was blown away when we opened the front door for the first time. A picture perfect view, a wide open gathering space, and amenities and decor galore greet you upon arrival. The hosts and property manager were also super communicative and very helpful in getting us to the home! Driving/finding your way can be daunting but once you get to the house all your worries melt away:) It was truly the perfect location for us (can't pass up getting to see more of the island) and a more than perfect house and fit for us. My husband cooked many meals for the group and was very pleased to have a fully stocked kitchen and spice cabinet :) We also took advantage of the beach chairs, coolers, towels and snorkel gear and this allowed us to have several great beach days- we wouldn't have been able to pack and bring all this gear from NY, so this was truly a huge plus! This home really had a huge impact on our amazing USVI experience and I wouldn't hesitate to book here again if I have the pleasure to return! Ocean facing views from all the rooms meant gentle breezes, magnificent sunrises and depth of vision out into the ocean. The house is above the road, but you can’t see it and rarely heard vehicles so we often felt we were in a tropical seclusion. Sweeping views with other houses visible only to the far right side. Below the house salt ponds with egrets and herons. Hummingbirds and bananquits at the deck rail feeder. Above, pelicans and frigates hovered in the updrafts. The property was like a botanical garden with great diversity of trees and plants and so many colorful blooms! Convenient to our favorite east side bays for snorkeling. Was easy to get out early to the bays and be the only ones there! House was perfect for 2 couples. We had the lower level and it was separate and quite with 2 huge sliding doors facing out to the patio and the ocean beyond. Bed was super comfortable and the 2 ceiling fans and the AC made for lots of control over temperatures for our comfort. Common area upstairs worked nicely with dining area and living room area. The hit of the whole thing is the covered patio- this became a second living room and the space we spent so much time in. The constant gentle breezes kept the no-seums at bay so only a few bites and rarely used bug spray. The grill was well set up and pool was a delight to cool off in. Kelsey was so easy to work with, quick to reply and address questions/requests. We hope to return!" The platform was in good shape with all we needed for our stay. The cleaning was okay but it could of used a better sweeping especially under the bed. The coffee maker needed a good cleaning but that is what you get when you depend on the previous visitors to clean up. We had to reach out through a text to get the password for web access and we never encountered any office staff face to face, the office was not open while we were there from checkin to checkout. We were on island for 10 days and it would have been nice to change our towels after 4 days or so but there was no one around to ask. We absolutely loved the restaurant. The staff was great and the food was very good! Sonica makes the visit fun and makes a great drink. All the staff we encountered at the restaurant were very friendly. All in all we had a good stay." We could watch the huge flock of flamingos on the small pond below our porch, and had beautiful birds coming to the sugar feeder. The host, Bill, met us on arrival and hauled our biggest suitcase up the stairs for us. He was helpful and attentive the whole time.
