"The manager was fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming, even though we came in late. This building really was the old court house and each room in the building, from the 1910s or so, has been converted. The decor, strangely enough, reminds you of Asia or perhaps Asian fascination from that period of time. Downstairs is the equally fascinating Edie Rae cafe where you will get the best breakfast (free with your booking) that I have had in a long time. The location is the old section of town. Since the mill closed the area has suffered, but there are many great buildings to look at. Downtown for shopping is a 10 minute drive. I can't recommend this place enough."

"This is a hidden gem, incredibly great stay, staff were so friendly and accommodating, especially Zayn at reception. The pool and rooms were clean and the grounds were lovely to walk around, especially the ‘boardwalk’. A lot of effort has gone in to updating an older property, we will stay here again. "
