Very nice stay in Ballito

Nice place to stay. Not far from Ballito and the beaches. Lovely view on the sea from the bedroom. Studio is very well équiped with kitchen, barbecue, Tv, double bathroom etc. Gavin was really helpful and gave us some nice addresses for restaurants.

Accueil "soft", la wifi gratuite annoncée n'est que de 15 minutes par jour. Bon petit déjeuner. Vue sur la mer plutôt lointaine. Mais dans l'ensemble pour une étape d'une nuit cela convient.

In need of an update

we stayed in the dolphine suite and whilst it was separate from the rest of the 'suites' at the guesthouse, with its own verandah overlooking the pool, a king size bed, kitchenette, tv with small bouquet of dstv channels, a shower and a big corner bath - it is in need of an update. Could do with a decor update - not really appealing in shades of orange, brown and beige. The fridge is noisy throughout the night, and the bed has seen better days - the mattress sinks in the middle. Location is close to all salt rock amenities, pleasant enough for a weekend, you get what you pay for - not luxury. Do go to the salt rock hotel around the corner for amazing crab curry.

Zuider Zee week stay

Lovely little spot to just chill. Nothing going on, not much available but small store and a couple of restaurants. Nice little kitchenette to work in- all that we needed. Beach is15 minute walk away- vehicle necessary for anything beyond that.

Bed and Breakfast in Salt Rock

Our stay there was enjoyable because the room was nice and cosy, close to the beach and eating houses. Its also a few minutes drive to Balito, which is the new upmarket area in the north coast. Our host was also polite and helpful. i will surely visit again
