It keeps our home safe and neighbors happy while respecting our guests' privacy. No Intrusive Cameras or audio recording devices, this only monitors noise levels based on decibels.  
A sound's loudness is measured in decibels (dB). Normal conversation is about 60 dB, a lawn mower is about 90 dB, and a loud rock concert is about 120 dB. This device is set to notify you by text if noise goes over 75 decibels for 10 minutes or more. If you get a text message from the device please make sure you keep the noise levels down as requested.

Getting Around:  
Downtown Salt Lake City is a vibrant and bustling area that offers a variety of transportation options to help you get around the city easily and efficiently.  
  
One popular way to get around downtown is by using the public transit system. The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) operates a network of buses and trains that serve the downtown area and beyond. The TRAX light rail system is particularly convenient for getting around downtown, with several stations located within walking distance of major attractions, hotels, and businesses. The UTA also operates a free downtown circulator bus, known as the "Free Fare Zone," that makes loops around the downtown area.  
  
Another popular transportation option in downtown Salt Lake City is biking. The city has an extensive network of bike lanes and trails, making it easy and safe to navigate by bike. There are several bike share programs available, including GreenBike and Lime, that allow you to rent a bike on demand and return it to a designated station when you're done.  
  
If you prefer to get around on foot, downtown Salt Lake City is a very walkable area. Many of the city's most popular attractions, such as Temple Square and the City Creek Center, are within easy walking distance of each other.  
  
Finally, if you need to travel further afield, taxis, ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft, and rental cars are all available in downtown Salt Lake City.

This apartment is deep cleaned between each stay to ensure our guests are welcomed to a safe and clean space. We also, provide all of our guests with a welcoming gift!

Additionally, the building is situated in an up-and-coming neighborhood, similar to those found in most major cities. You may notice some homeless individuals in the area, but the community is highly monitored by local police and building security. Rest assured, this is a safe area, and your comfort and security are our top priority.  
  
Interaction with Guests:  
As your host, I am dedicated to making your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. I'll be available to assist you throughout your stay. Whether you need recommendations for local attractions, assistance with amenities in the apartment, or simply a bit of local insight, I'm just a message or phone call away.  
  
While I respect your privacy and want to give you ample space to enjoy your stay, I also believe in proactive communication. I will regularly check in via Airbnb's messaging platform to ensure that everything is going smoothly and to answer any queries you might have.
