We walked into a unit that had not been cleaned since the last guests. All of the bedding and towels were dirty and lying in a pile on the floor in front of the washing machine. We immediately contacted the after hours number but it took 3 calls and over 2 hours to finally be given the code to a locked closet upstairs, where we found enough clean sheets for the beds.The next morning, housekeeping showed up. She was very nice and spent several hours getting our property in order. The unit was spacious and mostly as described but we also had the following issues with the unit:The hot tub was filthy and stagnant. It had obviously not been cleaned in awhile so we did not use it. The toilets repeatedly clogged. Maintenance came out once and used an auger on the downstairs toilet but even it clogged again a few days later. The master bathroom smelled like sewage for hours after the shower was used. The shower was used multiple times per day so that was a lot of time the bathroom smelled, spilling over into the master bedroom. There is obviously some plumbing issues going on with this unit. The beds were not comfortable at all. The master bedroom mattress felt like it was at least 15 years old. I didn’t sleep on the others but when we checked out, they didn’t feel much better. There were also no ping pong balls to go with the ping pong table. ##### Jaci G. Came to ski Snowbird and it was the perfect location. Close to the canyon, but also close to great restaurants and activities in Sandy during the evening. The property manager was super communicative, and we have had TERRIBLE communication with VRBO manager in the past, so this was very appreciated. It looks like the basement may be in the process of being finished, which will provide even more space in the future. Utah’s Best Vacation Rentals was our on-site contact, and they were SUPERB. They responded quickly to every communication, and went above and beyond to help us when one of our guests accidentally left something behind. They tracked it down and sent it in overnight delivery. Easy access to and from SLC Airport or Downtown SLC. Clean, comfortable living area. Nice to have ping pong/foosball and Xbox area in the basement as well. Great (and clean) hot tub, which we got a lot of use of. Good responses from the Host company for outreach. The cons: The front door was wide open upon our arrival, so a little discomforting there. The TV remotes didn't work and were eventually replaced. The kitchen, while reasonably well equipped could use serving platters/bowls etc for family use. The beds were not comfortable and the heat was difficult to regulate for whatever reason. Over all though, we would stay again because of the great proximity to Ski, the responsiveness of the host company and nearby shopping for the essentials of our stay. ##### robert s.
