This is a lower floor walkout unit, it’s a private space, with 2500 sq ft of spacious living and a panoramic view of the Shuswap lake! It’s has 3 good size bedrooms with queen beds and 2 pullout couches with memoy foam for a good night’s sleep! We also have 2 full bathrooms, with separate hot water tanks, along with a large common area for larger groups! This accommodation can sleep 10 people comfortably! It has a fully contained kitchen, there is a bbq, shuffle board table with sauna and a full laundry and bbq for your use only! Every window has a stunning view of the bay! It also has a large outdoor covered private patio with plenty of seating! This property is on a gorgeous lot with a fire pit and various fruit trees and lots of lawn to enjoy the great outdoors! All amenities plus boat launch, beach, golf and restaurants are just a few minutes drive away or a short walk! I rated the accuracy of the house listing with a low rating because I feel it is very deceiving how they have this listed. Only the bottom level is available to stay in. The pictures show the whole house and upper level deck which makes the guests to believe the whole house is available. This should definitely be made known in the listing. On a positive note, the bottom level was clean and spacious. Not having an actual dining area would have been unhandy but we didn’t spend a lot of time at the unit so that was okay. The hosts were always available if there were any issues. The downstairs unit is very spacious and well-equipped. Our family of two adults and two teens had plenty of space to spread out, with our own private rooms. The beds were very comfortable. Our hosts, Christine and Dan, were helpful and fun to meet. Shuswap lake is beautiful, clean, and swimmable in the summer. If you need to rent kayaks or paddleboards, Finz Resort, which is a couple of km away, has them at reasonable rates. Be sure to have a vehicle to transport them to a part of the lake you want to explore; otherwise, you're limited to going out of Blind Bay. We would all love to stay again as the suite had everything we could ask for and more. Hosts were extremely helpful at check in and were very available if there was anything we needed. Chris and Dan’s place was so lovely for our family’s Christmas getaway. The view was spectacular, the wood fire stove kept us warm, the place was spacious enough for all of us. Chris and Dan’s place was stocked with everything you need to get you started. And the hot tub was an added bonus after a long day. It was a perfect spot for a much-needed break. ##### Brooke S. The patio doubled our living space and the accommodation held 6 adults and 2 children very comfortably. We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities . . . shuffle board, sauna, hot tub, eating outside at the table and relaxing on the patio with yet another separate seating area. With 8 people, no one was in anybody's "space". We're definitely coming back. Thanks Chris and Dan. ##### Susan J. My hubby booked the home and I did not look it over carefully as to what it was. Initially we thought we had rented the entire home and was surprised to find out it was only the lower half (above grade walkout basement). It turned out to be just what we needed. Having board games on site would have been a plus (Yahtzee, Jenna, cards, farkle, etc…) Having the stand up room fans was a nice touch as it provides more cool air and white noise as it can get warm inside (coming in and out from the deck) and you have no access to the AC control. If you needed anything the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The views are extraordinary. Location fantastic. The fruit trees on property were amazing (apricot, plums, cherries, pear, apples). Thank you for letting us stay in your slice of heaven! Would definitely come again. ##### Shane B. Smaller kitchen to accommodate 10 as advertised, the problem was A/c , since this is lower part of the house and A/c can only be controlled by owners upstairs, felt abit uncomfortable. Last 2 days AC didn't work at all. Also have never been charged so much extra for kids, be sure to check the price for all people. ##### Julia S.
