The staff was amazing. Location was great the beautiful old historic hotel sits right on top of the beautiful waterfall and river. We had a large clean room over looking the river. The bed was extra large and comfortable. The room has a good size en suite. Sleeping with the window open and hearing the water is very soothing. It's a nice walk into town along the town path. There is limited parking but it's free. Breakfast was very substantial and freshly cooked to order. The restaurant manager was very helpful and friendly. Wonderful hotel. I’m adding it to my favourites as I travel around the country quite a bit. The staff were lovely, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the parking was excellent. I ate in the restaurant and the food and service were both excellent. The room had everything you need, hairdryer, tea & coffee pods, good bathroom and products. Our room looked over a roof, a view would have been better, but booked late. Some noise from below, but all quiet after 10pm and slept very well.
